RUSSIA – Another Cold War or will things get HOT?

It wasn’t too many years ago that Russia invaded Afghanistan. They entered the region with big heads, big mouths and went in to wipe Afghanistan off the map. 1 million Afghans died and 10 thousand Russians died that we know of. It was one of those situations where the US could support the Afghan army with weapons, missiles and so forth. The first weapons were left over stock and included LAW rockets, AA missiles, Lots of hand held weapons and ammo. It’s wasn’t so much the fact that Russia wanted Afghanistan for them selves, instead it was a case of David and Goliath. We have to remember that a single bullet for the Afghan trooper on the ground could cost him a months pay. Therefore, it was imperative that the regular Afghan troopers had to be an expert shot to even be issued a few bullets – And they were. There are film clips of a Afghan troopers shooting a helicopter pilot causing the crash of the air craft. Also, Law missile were used as anti aircraft weapons. A well place shot would put a missile through the door of a helicopter at will. As a result of the war and our input of supplying Afghanistan with weapons caused Russia to almost go broke trying to keep up the war and eventually would play a large roll in the breaking up of the Soviet Union back into all of the small countries that Russia had under their control at the time.

Now Russia has become the supporter of the Middle East and the US is on the other side. This alone stays the route that has been going on for years. – Whom ever your enemy is, are our allies. – The thought that Russia would just pack up and keep to them selves was sadly mistaken. It must be understood that Russia is a huge problem for the US and is now setting themselves up with many countries and of course, slowly gaining their strength back. Countries that include, India, China, North Korea, Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador , Ukraine, Serbia, Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Iran. Now they are a huge presence in Syria. This means that (since the Benghazi situation) not only do they have American weaponry at their disposal, Russia is supplying their own weapons as well. After all, no one wants to talk about the “gun and weapons running” that was taking place through Labia, Benghazi to finally ending up in Syria. Looks like that the Russians were part of a plan that now only includes Russia.

Why Syria? This puts Russia right in the spot light with China and support for terrorist actions around the world. All China has to do is declare all debt to be paid by the US government and then move to claim the equity that is owed to them by this nation and to be honest; we don’t have. Since Russia is still recovering from their economic collapse back in the nineties. I’m not sure how China can be of help monetarily to Russia, however; we do know that Russia is at this moment testing the airspace defenses over Guam where we’ve scrambled jets several times as a result of Russian nuclear bombers flying the airspace. Of course they are also testing reactions to Korea, China and the Middle East by the US. Even more disturbing, Russian defense testing has also taken place on our Alaskan borders. The word is that the Alaskan skies have always been tested but there is proof that Russia has become a bit bolder when it comes to Alaska.

A study of Russian tactics has found that the possibility of Russian troops being sighted in small Alaskan towns. Ketchikan, Alaska is one of those towns. It is the southeastern most city in the state. This is the fifth most populated city in Alaska with a population of 8,050. It’s also been reported that civilian sightings of Russian troops have also been witnessed. In the City os Silka, formerly New Archangel under Russian rule. This city is located on Baranof Island and the southern half of Chichagof Island in the Alesander Archipelago of the Pacific Ocean. Reports of Russian submarines being seen on a frequent basis just off the coast and; more civilian reports of Russian vehicles and troops moving through Alaska, north of Anchorage. Let us not forget the Russian submarine escorted out of the Gulf of Mexico last year. I would like better intelligent sources concerning some of these claims but we can agree that logically, some of these sightings and stories do hold merit. Russian troops on American soil. The thought is disturbing to the point of nightmarish. But then we have Russian commandos training at For Carson, Colorado springs and have been there since last Spring. I have to wonder, what was that little discussion between Obama and Putin when Obama was caught on record telling Putin that he would have to wait until the election was over?
