Dissent, discontent, and diatribes on the American Empire

Here is a great slideshow of what Iraq looked like before the US war machine’s “shock and awe” lightshow got done pummelling it to pieces. The same could be said about Laos’s Trail of Jars and the many other countries the US government has incinerated and firebombed from the air.

Now, the Empire, especially the likes of the bloodthirsty Lindsey Graham (R – Mordor) want to do the same to another ancient civilization. Will Graham and Co. fly into Tehran themselves and drop the tax-guzzling bombs? Of course not. They want you or your son or your father or your brother to kill and die for the American state.

But as they found out in the unexpected public opposition t0 a war in Syria, the War Party’s plans may be harder and harder to achieve. The peace movement is growing, thanks to the bankruptcy and blood that US intervention leaves in its wake.
