Message To The Media: “It’s Time To Stop Demonizing Responsible Gun Owners”

Phoenix resident, business owner and radio show host Nohl Rosen has a direct message to the media when it comes to the topic of guns.

“It’s time to stop demonizing responsible gun owners and start showing the other side of the coin. Guns are simply a tool, and when properly used can save your life. Whenever there’s a shooting the media seems to paint a picture that all those who own a gun are bad people. The truth is, responsible gun owners are in the majority. They don’t go on mass shooting sprees and don’t pull their gun out for the fun of it to harm someone. Responsible gun owners use them to protect themselves, their home, their family, and their businesses. It’s time the media started to show the positive side to gun ownership instead of sensationalizing the negative in order to sell a story,” Rosen said.

Rosen has become an outspoken advocate for the Second Amendment and is also a gun owner himself. He was recently featured on the MSNBC special 50 Years Of Guns and has also appeared on national news outlets like Breaking News Journal to talk about how guns can save lives and giving a very positive position to gun ownership. He’s also talked about the failures of gun control and how they don’t work.

“Stricter gun laws and gun free zones don’t work. The bad guys don’t go through background checks and they certainly won’t care about a sign that says there are no guns allowed on the premises. All the criminals will see is an even greater opportunity to commit the crime without having to fear for their own life. In other words, crime becomes a very safe occupation for them when they’re the only ones that are armed and the victim has no capability to protect themselves. I carry a gun because I don’t want to be a statistic, and I choose not to be,” Rosen added.

To educate the media about guns, Rosen recently gave an open invitation to any member of the local media to take them to the shooting range to learn about responsible gun ownership and to also have experts on hand to talk about safety and help provide the facts about them. So far, no member of the Arizona media has accepted the offer.

Rosen hosts shows on Cat Galaxy and also owns his own computer repair company called Panther TEK.
