Connecticut Gun Owners Engage In Mass Civil Disobedience

In late 2013 we all saw the pictures of Connecticut gun owners lining up to register their guns and magazines.  What the mainstream didn’t want you to know is that the largest majority of Connecticut gun owners were not part of those obedient serfs that were pictured.

Americans were led to believe that the slaves pictured were doing the right thing by blindly following Connecticut’s over reaching and unconstitutional newly passed gun registry law.  However, the largest majority of Connecticut gun owners know that just because something is law, doesn’t make it right.

Now, as Connecticut’s The Courant estimates, as many as 100,000 gun owners with 350,000 unregistered weapons have yet to come forward, making state officials uneasy. Furthermore, estimates concerning banned magazines holding more than ten rounds, which have no serial numbers and are impossible to track unless registered, show that only 36,932 have been entered into the state’s databases, while over two million remain on the market.

Politicians in this country arrogantly believe that they are the lords and we are their servants and just because they make a law, that it is our duty to obey it.  This was made very clear by Republican state Sen. Tony Guglielmo, who said, “I honestly thought from my own standpoint that the vast majority would register.  If you pass laws that people have no respect for and they don’t follow them, then you have a real problem.”  The problem that Guglielmo is not seeing is that he was not representing the will of the people when he helped push this law through.  The registry law stems from the beliefs of the politicians, not the people who they are supposed to be representing.

Instead of going after violent criminals, the state has gone after innocent peaceful citizens.

This is exactly the kind of mass civil disobedience that Americans need to be practicing in order to put these tyrants in their place.
