Apostle Peter Was Buried In Jerusalem Not Rome

The apostle Peter was buried in Jerusalem not Rome leading some people to believe Peter never lived in Rome. It is each pope who claims his authority to reign and represent the Roman Catholic Church comes from the apostle Peter whom they claimed lived his life in Rome yet when one reads the Bible its the apostle Peter whom witnessed to the Jews while the apostle Paul witnessed to the Gentiles.

Matthew 23:9 says to call no man on earth your father for your father is in heaven not papa or pope on earth. We have all sinned but the Roman Catholic Church states the pope is infallible. Would the apostle Peter ever make the claim he never sinned?

The Roman Catholic Church claims the apostle Peter died in 67 A.D. in Rome. Roman emperor Nero at that time used 10,000 Christians as human torches to light up Rome at night. I can’t imagine the apostle Peter reigning as pope under those conditions and who became the next pope after the apostle Peter? Linus who reigned in Rome 67-76 A.D. One wonders as time went on did these popes become advisors to the Roman emperors as Christians were being fed to the lions before the reign of Roman emperor Constantine?

Its Jesus Christ who is the only leader of Christianity. Its only the belief in Jesus Christ which will open the gates of heaven. (John 3:16) The apostle Peter never sought the admirations of the kings of the earth. The apostle Peter never bowed down before statues or established rituals which are in direct contradiction to the Holy Scriptures. The apostle Peter would have kept Moses original ten commandments where it specifically states we are not to bow down before idols.

Apostle Peter would be shocked to see people giving so much respect to a man on earth when our father is in heaven. Jesus mother Mary would also be quite alarmed people made idols of her to bow down and worship. Pope Frances calls people who read their Bibles right wingers whom are mentally ill. One wonders what persecution Bible believers will face in the near future.
