Eric Holder – When In Doubt, Act Like A Thug And Play The Race Card

Eric Holder is one of those people who are so predictable, it’s stopped being fun trying to “guess” what he will do. Whenever he is confronted by his transgressions, of which there are many, he always plays the race card. We all know how he crossed verbal swords with Louie Gohmert. When faced with the truth about his actions from the Texas Representative, Holder warned him “you don’t want to go there, buddy”. The man is literally a thug and a bully. On top of that, he is a racist who has no qualms playing the race card. Hat tip to Angry White Dude.

Fox News – Attorney General Eric Holder appeared to suggest Wednesday that harsh criticism from GOP lawmakers’ is racially motivated. The remarks came during an event held by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.

“Forget about me. You look at the way the Attorney General of the United States was treated yesterday by a House committee. Had nothing to do with me. Forget that. What attorney general has ever had that kind of treatment? … What president has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment?” Holder asked.

Holder was referring to tough questions from members of the House Judiciary Committee the day before, including a tense back-and-forth with Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX).

Seriously? As much as I despise what Eric Holder and his boss have done to America, I still find it shocking that he would take this tact with such openness. Does he really expect the rest of America to believe the criticisms and investigations that have been aimed at President Obama and himself are a result of racism? Are we really supposed to swallow the idea that Fast and Furious is only a big deal because some of the instigating characters in the story are black? Is Benghazi only on our radar because President Obama is half black? Does the concern we have over the activities of the IRS only rise to the surface because of latent racism that conservatives can not escape?

The boy who cried wolf once too often suffered because of his false cries. The same principles apply to President Obama and Eric Holder. With their continual playing of the race card, they have cheapened any charges of real racism that may be raised. They have cried racism so many times, it’s no longer even humorous.

I have one more point to make, better made by another Texas Representative that participated in the Congressional hearing. This comes from Texas Fred.

Republican Rep. Blake Farenthold refused to ask Holder – the hearing’s sole witness – any questions, instead slamming him for defying congressional document subpoenas and ignoring a criminal contempt citation the House of Representatives lodged against him nearly two years ago.

‘I’m committed to maintaining the constitutional balance of power and the authority that this legislative branch has,’ Farenthold said, ‘and I just don’t think it’s appropriate that Mr. Holder be here.’

‘If an American citizen had not complied with one of the Justice Department’s subpoenas, they would be in jail and not sitting here in front of me testifying.’

My friends, that is enough said. Want to test Blake Farenthold’s theory? Go ahead and refuse to comply with legal requests from the Department of Justice and see how long you can stay out of jail. Eric Holder’s real mantra should be “justice for thee, but not for me”. No, the humor is gone from Eric Holder’s actions and words. Pathetic comes to mind and makes me long for 2016 to get here as soon as it can.
