Police really are the enforcement class of violence and theft. Yes, they have quotas, they are trained to lie, and are above the law:

Yeah, we have “quotas”. They are ‘unoffical’ but you get shit duties if you dont pull in so much money for the department per month. So, what that means is, say it’s the 30th of the month and you havent met your quota.. That means you pull over someone (preferably black, since they are less likely to fight it or sue) who is ‘doing 55 in a 54′ and give them a ticket.
Also, I’m lucky enough to work in a ‘shall arrest’ DV state. Which basically means that, if we get a domestic violence call against you for any reason what so ever, we are required to arrest SOMEONE. It doesn’t matter if a neighbor who hates you calls, and when we show up you are the only person home, we are still supposed to arrest you. I’ve literally been yelled at by a superior because some asshole called in a DV against his neighbor who he had a land dispute with, and I refused to arrest the guy because his wife wasn’t even in town when we got there (she had been out of town on business for a week…). It doesn’t matter to the higher up’s, because once you are arrested for even a bullshit reason, it’s money getting pumped into the system. You are GOING to pay bail if you can (which doesn’t get refunded under any circumstances), you are going to spend 12 hours in jail minimum, and unless you luck up and get a decent public defender (which happens occasionally if they aren’t already over worked), you are going to pay for a lawyer. Even a bullshit arrest can easily turn into multiple thousands of dollars. Oh, let’s not forget the expungment paper work you have to file (which is another 5-600 bucks), just to get the arrest removed from your record (the arrest will stay there even if you are found innocent or the DA refuses to press charges). Let’s not forget the money being pumped into parole officers, probation officers, etc.
Oh, and in my county in particular, ‘evidence’ that is confiscated, gets auctioned off, and the money goes back into the PD. So, if you are arrested for spotlighting or hunting out of season (or even some BS charge as mentioned above), we are going to take your car, your firearms, and possibly any other firearms you own that we ‘suspect’ you may have used for other illicit activity….and unless you can afford a good lawyer to get them back, we are going to auction all that off and the money is going to go back into buying us new squad cars and laptops to look at facebook while we sit in those squad cars.
So yeah, don’t think the police are here to protect you. We are here to put money back into the system. When I started out I was a starry eyed kid, thinking I was going to be helping out people and ‘protecting and serving’…..after a few months, I realized that it was all bullshit, and we are here to use anything you say against you, and twist any facts we can against you. It was so bad (at least where I live) that I had to quit, I didn’t have the moral ‘ambiguity’ to keep on. I know not all PD’s are like this, and my hat’s off to the people who could keep on trying to change the system from the inside, but yeah, at least around here, and as far as I’m concerned for the most part, ‘justice’ is a racket.

Thanks for confirming what we a lot of us already knew. And thank you for taking the moral high ground and getting out of that dirty business.
Our country is fast becoming a police state. When the air of superiority takes over the attitude and demeanor of law enforcement and they act as if they are above the law that they swore an oath to uphold we have a problem. Increasingly, law enforcement is operating as though citizens are the enemy. They have stopped protecting and serving the people and now protect and serve the corporate system. YT is rife with videos of police brutality and outright murder. They can shoot someone on the flimsiest excuse and get exonerated while taking time off on a paid vacation.
As an average citizen, I am becoming more concerned encountering a criminal with a badge rather than a crook without one.
Yeah, so what? You don’t get no points for saying something everyone has known for, like, DECADES.
And you had to wait until you were a “former” cop, to “be brave” and finally tell it like it is…something you’ve known for how long, yet kept quiet til now??? That makes you a coward. Well, at least you know why pigs are #1 on the list to die. You just named all the important ones why tolerance is of no value. You have no mother, and you suck at life. I truly hope you get to witness all the rage you and your “bro’s-in-blue” have caused thru out all this time. I hope there’s little to nothing you can do to stop the tidal wave of rage you deserve. All the laws you helped to vote in? May they strangle you. When the order comes for EVERYONE to be dis-armed, I hope you are defenseless, so you know what that feels like, all those who you helped put away for non-violent crimes, I hope they HAUNT your every moment. And finally, I hope you have a LONG LIFE…..

You should of seen the Lawyer of the day at my last case. He was furious that I was not playing along. He was trying to put the fear of the law into me. I laughed at him saying, “Dude this is a non violent misdemeanor, I have no guilt, and I have no interest in obtaining a attorney.”
Sounds like describing Clearwater Florida’s police department, or better know as the Revenue Generation Division.
There is only one way to stop being made a victim by law enforcement and that is to make them the victim when you can. God does not care if we kill for the right reasons. Sometimes we have to be who we are not to show who we are. If you are fighting for your honor and to end tyranny, then it is okay to kill police. God does not care if we kill. God is the creator and he created us. He wants us to create the kind of world we seek and stands by us in allowing us to manifest our reality. We can create a reality in which we are victims and cower to state violence and psychopaths in state-issued costumes or we can create a reality in which tyrants and bullies are stopped. God does not care how we stop the tyrant, torturer or murderer. It can be by assassination or in a fair fight. God does not care when Bush, Obama, Clinton or any other person creates their reality even though these people have already killed millions. He will allow them to continue to kill by the millions because they are creating their reality in which we are their victims. If we stand by helpless and do nothing, then we have created reality. All it would take is for citizens to stop supporting police false prosecutions and furthering the lies and propaganda of the state which serves as the vehicle for the ruling class’s oppression of the masses. We could all end their useless wars if we would only kill them instead of an innocent woman or child on the other side of the globe. But, you can keep doing as your rulers tell you and live in the reality they create for you, or you can create your own reality. There is no other choice. How would God decide who should go to heaven in a war lasting decades between England and France? He made war as sure as he made people. All of our reality consists of what God has created. He has created love and its opposite, fear. We can kill because we love our neighbor and refuse to allow them to be victims of tyrants. God stands by and watches nations kill by the millions and could stop it in a minute if he wanted to. But, he allows others to create their reality knowing we are eternal beings. He does not judge us but instead has made reality our ontological playground and we can live the illusions others create for us, or we can create our reality. It is our soul’s desire to work to create a reality based on love, but love will never stop the tyrant who will use this against humanity. So, we must be who we are not, killers if need be, to show who we really are. Let your sense of ultimate truth guide you. If you think God placed you here only one time to be the victim of other people’s greed and power lust, you are mistaken. Search your heart for the truth. God’s loves you as much as he does Bush, Clinton or Obama. He does not judge them but merely allows them to create. He will do the same for you. Be the cause of your actions as opposed to being the result of the actions of others.

I disagree. While there are rogue police agencies and officers. In E. CT there are no quotas, and police are NOT TRAINED to lie. In PD I worked for years ago there was a shift commander who kept records on MV activity my every officer, that ended shortly after. Most police are not your enemy in State and local law-enforcement. On Fed. level it MAY be different, we’ll have to watch what shakes out on Bundy Ranch?
What surprises me here is that some of you guys actually believe this B.S.,. This isn’t written by anyone who has ever been anywhere near a badge in his life. He definetly has no training. The entire story reeks of some grade 8 graduated redneck who has a beef with cops. Read the writing, it’s just all wrong, no cop talks or writes like that.
