Former KKK Grand Wizard Threatens House Republicans and Democrats

There is a lot of hoopla surrounding current House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise’s (R-LA) relationship with former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard, David Duke, and a speaking engagement at Duke’s 2002 European-American Unity and Rights Organization (EURO) conference. EURO is a pro-white organization and has been described as a ‘hate group’ by the Southern Poverty Law Center and others.

Scalise’s office claims he has never been affiliated wityh Duke’s “abhorrent group” however, they do not deny he spoke at the event. In a statement to The Times-Picayune, he says he does not remember speaking at the 2002 EURO.

Scalise, the House GOP’s No. 3 man, is being lambasted by corporate media and as well as colleagues. In an interview with Fusion.net, Duke suggests he will start ratting out both republicans and democrats alike that he has ties with. In the same Picayune interview Duke specifically threatened his fellow GOP’ers,

“If Scalise is going to be crucified — if Republicans want to throw Steve Scalise to the woods, then a lot of them better be looking over their shoulders.”

CNN is reporting the GOP has chosen to stand by their man, supporting Scalise amid the allegations of racism.
