Myth of the Conservative Media Exposed

The current Trump-FOX brouhaha has given us final, conclusive evidence that the so-called ‘Conservative Media’ is nothing but a myth.  The truth is that Murdoch and Prince bin Talal’s network is nothing more than part of the political side show that is used to dupe the TV-addicted drones of this country while giving them the illusion of information—and someone to root for and against.  FOX is now exposed as nothing more than the Keepers of the Right paradigm playing their part to demonize and oppose CNN and the Keepers of the Left.   

Their treatment of Donald Trump makes this perfectly clear.  Initially, they built up his candidacy almost non-stop.  They did this for one reason: Trump is good TV and Trump is good ratings.  Then they realized that Trump was far more than they ever imagined.  The man is not content to play his part as WWE-type heel and actually wants to be president and really thinks he can make America great again.  FOX was shocked.

Trump’s popularity and exploded.  He poll numbers doubled every other candidate including establishment darling and RNC defacto nominee Jeb Shrub…I mean Bush.  The Keepers of the Right panicked and turned to slay the monster they were helping create while they believed they still could.  Sir Chris Wallace and Lady Megyn Kelly were trotted out to slay the dragon with their legendary and lethal verbal lances.  For two hours they slashed and stabbed at the beast, giving him their toughest and most unfair of blows.   Yet, in the end, they were tilting at windmills.  Trump emerged not only alive but mostly whole.  Drudge, NewsMax, and NYTimes post-debate polls all had Trump in the 40’s plus with his nearest competitors in the teens. 

Let us be clear.  FOX and the RNC were not and are not trying to take down Trump because of his beliefs regarding women.  Who, after even a casual look at FOX’s roster of female ‘news’ anchors, really believes that FOX is truly upset at or has any moral high ground from which to challenge Trump on what they say is a focus on women’s looks?  They are after Trump for one reason and one reason only.  Donald Trump is not for sale and he cannot be bought.  He cannot be owned and therefore cannot be counted upon to play along.

Trump would be a president that does not owe anyone anything.  Trump would be a free-agent president the likes of which this Republic has not seen since the days of President Thomas Jefferson.  Worse yet, he actually thinks he can make America great again—and thinks he can do it without the help of the established political and media paradigms.  Trump doesn’t give a damn, and that scares the Establishment to death.  This is why they are trying to bring him down.

Trump did not mean to imply that Kelly was on her period any more than he meant to imply that Wallace was on his when he made the very same comments about him.  FOX knew this and the whole Right Wing cabal that is up in arms this weekend over these comments knows it too.  Truth is, they are the ones with blood running out of their noses from the repeated jabs of Donald Trump and they are fearful he is only getting started.  They also realize they may have missed their last opportunity to stop him. 

Donald Trump has exposed the myth of the Conservative Media and is now threatening to throw back the entire curtain of American politics and government, exposing the men and women behind it.  Trump has veered off the assigned yellow brick road and is four-wheeling his way, blazing a new trail.  The Wizards have been exposed and they are running scared.  FOX, you aren’t in Kansas anymore.  Trump is not dead—and he hasn’t even unleashed his flying monkeys yet.
