I SO agree with you. I was really enjoying updated news here for a while. A few days ago, there was an economic “update” by a financial expert I respected. I sat there pen and paper in hand until I discovered that what was presented was a 2011 report!!! I only read the editor’s selections and I too have seen recirculated news appear over and over.

I saw two faces in that cartoon you showed. I remembered the names of Leona Helmsley (Queen of Mean) and her husband.

Back in the 1990′s Leona and Donald Trump made headlines a lot. Donald for being the ruthless man was and still is, and Leona for being convicted of mail fraud and tax evasion. People associated these people as the elite who didn’t care much for anyone else but themselves. So hence, the cartoon depicting the Donald as one of these people.
Sure, he mingled with the rich and famous but I think that cartoon was meant to show people their displeasure of the Helmsley’s and how corrupt they can be. Trump was just thrown in that cartoon for merely being associated with the rich and powerful at the time and also making headlines as to what color suit he would where.

I believe the Simpsons episode was shown back in the same time period of the 90′s when that cartoon also came out.

I researched a ton of articles back then and I can honestly say this man has always been in the news… I believe that the artist had a little more foresight into the situation tho… It’s literally impossible to depict Hannah on MTV before she’s born… That detail was like a jab in the face. lol… I don’t think it was a lucky coincidence either… Not one bit. Any story could have been made up… One about a Presidential run and a wall is kind of ironic I think… When you put all these obvious “coincidences” together it paints a much different picture than an artist that was bent on the Helmsley’s… Especially considering he just released a book entitled WWIII… I’m about to get my hands on that to dissect it as well.
