We are in agreement in every way that matters. Jesus is Lord. There is no other name given among men by which we might be saved.
We’ve devoted considerable attention to understanding the chaos and who is behind it and perhaps now it is time to take the next step. For those who are called by His name that chaos is NOT the defining context of these times. It’s simply a background we are wise to understand and be aware of while we participate in the rise of a Kingdom that will never fail.
We see plenty of scriptural references to an eternally increasing Kingdom (Daniel 2:35 is one of many) and that is where the majority of our focus should be.
God will allow mankind to have what he demands and the full consequences of man’s decision to try to rule this earth apart from His ways will be allowed to come to full maturity as an eternal witness to the folly of trying to live apart from His character and ways.
Many Christians are not ready for what is coming, but true sons who dare to allow Him to work His very nature into them will not be blown around by the waves of His wrath.
Some Christians who have carelessly believed they could gaze into His eyes over the table while playing footsie with the world beneath it will suffer a measure of discipline that was never intended for them…but it will result in cleansing and purifying. Some of those will respond with repentance and join the remnant in executing His will in the earth.
Some will be taken home early, before they have a chance to fulfill their time and accumulate all the rewards that were intended for them. Their eternal place is secure, but they have been set aside as unworthy to participate with Him in His power.
Some will say “But we are not appointed unto wrath! How can we be present during a time the Bible clearly identifies as a time of His wrath?”
First, I agree. We are NOT appointed unto wrath. Wrath is never for the children. Discipline, yes….wrath? NEVER!
We are not UNDER His wrath, we are His AGENTS OF IT. Let that sink in. Amos tells us God does NOTHING without first informing His servants the prophets. Why did He say such a thing?
If we look at His plans through the “legal” lens, we realize that God CANNOT manifest His power in the earth unless he first finds a man who will agree with Him.
When His divine judgements are spoken in the courts of Heaven, He requires a MAN to speak those judgements into the earth before He releases the power to bring them to pass. When a man speaks out the PURE Word He is free (under His own rules) to put his Signature on the Word with His power.
I have avoided quoting scripture and it takes some time to develop this understanding from a scriptural foundation, but perhaps I’ll begin a series of articles in an attempt to do just that….I’ve been noodling on the idea for days now.
For now the takeaway idea I leave you with (to pray about) is the idea that we are most certainly not going to be carried away by these momentous end time events. In fact, if it were not for us, they couldn’t happen at all. We cause them.
