Mark Hamill Reads Donald Trump’s New Year’s Tweet as the Joker (Audio)
Mark Hamill is known for two things. He is known for playing the iconic role of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars and he is known for voicing the iconic role of the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series. The latter role is how I was first introduced to Hamill’s work, and when I went back to watch the original Star Wars, I am sorry to say I preferred his role as the Joker more.
Hamill has been vocal in his opposition to Donald Trump, but a series of tweets led him to taking Donald Trump’s New Year’s tweet (the one about his enemies and those who have lost to him “so badly”) and recording it in the Joker’s voice, heard here:
Isn’t it amazing how well it fits?
It’s not the first comparison to the Joker that’s been made, mind you. But my Joker voice simply isn’t as good as Hamill’s.
