Porn Star Ready to Give Back Trump’s Payoff Money (but There’s a Catch)

The problem is, it may violate campaign finance law.

Yes, that’s why Trump’s payoff of a porn star, Stormy Daniels, is troublesome. It’s definitely not that he committed adultery with this porn star (and at least one other). Everybody knows about Trump’s inability to remain faithful. He’s got 2 divorces and 3 wives that can tell you all about it, since they were all either cheated on by him, or started as one of his mistresses.

Evangelicals have fought to create a Biblically-based haven for their champion to preside over.

And by “Biblically-based” I mean Sodom and Gomorrah.

With that being said, Daniels (real name: Stephanie Clifford) is prepared to give the $130,000 payoff back.

Daniels’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, wrote a letter to Michael Cohen, President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, explaining that Daniels would wire money into an account of Trump’s choosing. In return, the nondisclosure agreement between Trump and Daniels would then be void.

Cohen has until noon on Tuesday to respond to the offer, according to the letter.

She’s looking for the ability to speak freely, without Trump’s lawyers going nuts and trying to stop her.

Gee… I wonder why?

Seriously, nobody cares about the affair. They man was on audio, as revealed a month before the election, bragging about how his wealth and fame gave him license to sexually assault women.

Over a dozen women came forward with stories of sexual misconduct – and in some cases, abuse or assault – by this lecherous old toad.

Nobody cared.

I mean, some did, but because it was an election where it was this corrupt old bag versus this lecherous and equally corrupt old toad, they chose the toad, thinking they had no other choice.

To still be defending it is kind of lame, now that the election is safely over, but it is what it is.

Daniels’ lawyer is looking to have all parties involved sign off on the deal, and that includes the president.

Now, some would argue that this is just a way to get Trump’s signature on record, since he (or David Dennison) failed to sign off on the original agreement.

The offer also calls on Cohen and Trump to agree not to block Daniels’s interview with “60 Minutes.”

I don’t see how they could, if there’s anything to Daniels’ lawsuit to end the nondisclosure agreement.

Daniels claims that since Trump didn’t sign the agreement, and since Cohen decided to talk about it himself, several weeks ago, that they broke the agreement and she should be free to talk.

The curious part is that Daniels already gave an interview back in 2011 to In Touch Magazine about her 2006 affair with Trump. They chose not to release the interview, however, and only recently revived it, publishing it several months ago, when news of the affair somehow found its way back into the spotlight.

This latest is an interesting ploy by Daniels’ attorney. I don’t think it’s one he expects to work, either.

He’s likely got something else up his sleeve, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens on Tuesday.
