Israel kills three Islamic Jihad fighters in Gaza Strip
Three Palestinians lost their lives to Israeli artillery fire in southern Gaza Strip on Sunday. At least two missiles were reportedly fired by Israeli forces, targeting a site between Rafah and Khan Younis. As a result of the bombings, 25-year old Hussein Samir Emour and 28-year old Abdal-Halim Abdal-Kareem al-Naqa were killed. Another person, who was critically wounded, succumbed to his injuries later in the day.
The victims reportedly belonged to the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine. According to a statement released by Israeli army, a tank targeted a military observation post in Rafah. The targeted site was decimated. Hundreds of mourners hit the streets to attend the funeral and pay their final respects to the victims. Footage shows the site in the aftermath of the bombings, the European Hospital in Khan Younis and the funeral procession.
