Parody of the Week:

Creepy Face of the Week: Peter Strzok

A woman who recorded the Peter Strzok Congressional hearing noticed Strzok making a very peculiar facial gesture, reminiscent of Anthony Hopkins’ portrayal of cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter in “The Silence of the Lambs.” Please go to :45 in Steven Beyer’s (Western Journal) video below. Beyer says that “once you see it, you can’t unsee it.”

Idiot of the Week:  Jim Acosta

Needs no explanation.

Supporting Idiot of the Week: April Ryan

CNN White House reporter April Ryan tells Don Lemon that “Jim Acosta’s life was in jeopardy, in my opinion, that night. There was a safety issue.” I can’t believe this woman is even allowed a platform. Please watch the video below (if you can!).

Winner of the Week: Paul Manafort

Quick witted US District Court Judge T. S. Ellis III is not allowing the Mueller team to tread on Manafort’s rights. When he feels that prosecutors are stepping over the line, he does not hesitate to comment. Although he doesn’t dismiss the fact that Manafort is on trial for a reason, he is equally wary of the Mueller team’s attempt to squeeze Manafort to get to Trump.

Loser of the Week: Sarah Jeong

Yes, there’s more! As if it couldn’t get any worse, a reader sent a link to some newly discovered Jeong tweets (as recently as July 2016) bashing cops and men in general.

Amazing Story of the Week: $70K Reward Offered by Drug Cartel for Drug-Sniffing Dog

Powerful Columbian Drug Cartel has offered a $70,000 reward for the capture or killing of drug-sniffing dog “Sombra.” This amazing german shepherd has sniffed out:

a record number of drugs, finding illicit stashes hidden in suitcases, boats and even large shipments of fruit. She has helped police take more than 2,000 kilos of cocaine off the streets.

Recent busts by Sombra – which is Spanish for Shadow – include uncovering over five tons of cocaine concealed in crates of bananas destined for Europe. A few months ago, the tenacious hound sniffed out 77 kilos of cocaine placed deep inside an industrial machine.

Sad Story of the Week: A Mother’s Grief in the Wild

A mother whale continued to carry her stillborn calf for a fifth day (so far).

The baby was so newborn it didn’t have blubber. It kept sinking, and the mother would raise it to the surface,” Ken Balcomb, a senior scientist with the Center for Whale Research on San Juan Island, Washington State, said.

Since then, she’s been carrying the calf’s body around on her nose, diving to pick it up again when it falls off. She was last sighted in the early evening on Saturday in Canadian waters.

Quote of the Week:

“The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.” – John F. Kennedy (1917 – 1963), 35th President of the United States

As always, this is an open thread.
