US asks Iran for talks ‘every day’ – Rouhani

The United Sates has been sending requests to Iran ‘every day’ to open negotiations, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani revealed in a speech at the Shahid Rajaei Festival in Tehran on Saturday. “On one hand, they [the US] put Iran under pressure and on the other they send us messages via different channels every day suggesting we negotiate,” said Rouhani who admonished US leaders for their contradictory signals.
