Man Who Called Tucker Carlson’s Daughter a Whore & the ‘C’ Word Serves on the Board for a Women’s Group

On Sunday, Tucker Carlson posted to Twitter an account of his daughter’s experience at Virginia’s Farmington Country Club last month:

Toward the end of the meal, my 19-year-old daughter went to the bathroom with a friend. On their way back through the bar, a middle aged man stopped my daughter and asked if she was sitting with Tucker Carlson,” Carlson wrote. “She answered, ‘That’s my dad,’ and pointed to me. The man responded, “Are you Tucker’s whore?” He then called her a “f***ing c**t.”

My daughter returned to the table in tears. … My son, who is also a student, went into the bar to confront the man. I followed. my son asked the man if he’d called his sister a “whore” and a “c**t.” The man admitted he had, and again [became] profane. … The club spent more than three weeks investigating the incident. Last week, they revoked the man’s membership and threw him out of the club.”

As it turns out, the man — Manuel Granados — is on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Initiative, an organization which provides mental health services for women who can’t afford them.

As indicated on their site, they believe in a woman’s emotional and spiritual needs:

We believe every woman has an innate capacity for healing that, once uncovered and directed, results in better mental and physical health. We believe it is critical to address each woman’s unique emotional, physical and spiritual needs.

Where does the need to not be called a whore and the “C” word fit into that?

The WI “provide(s) women with effective counseling, social support and education so they can transform life challenges into positive change and growth.”

It seems Manuel needs some positive change himself.

The Daily Caller reached out to the Women’s Initiative multiple times for comment, but a employee said, “Sorry, we don’t speak to reporters.”

Granados is now being represented by America’s favorite attorney, Michael Avenatti.

That’s not a joke.

Also on Sunday, Michael called Tucker a liar and claimed the Fox commentator assaulted Manuel.

Again due to language, I’ve resisted posting Avenatti’s statement here, but you can view it on Twitter. The kooky porn lawyer introduces thusly:

Here is a statement from my client regarding the incident with Tucker Carlson and Tucker’s fabricated version of events. As a father of two teenage daughters myself, I find it disgraceful that Tucker seeks to justify his behavior by falsely hiding behind his family. #Coward

The country club doesn’t think much of Avenatti. Speaking to The Washington Post, a rep dismissed “inaccurate allegations being spread by individuals who were not present during the incident, and whose interpretation of events are refuted by the accounts of multiple eyewitnesses.”

Tucker made clear in his tweet that he never assaulted Manuel:

I love my children. It took enormous self-control not to beat the man with a chair. … I did not assault this man, and neither did my son. … Nor did I know the man was gay or Latino, not that it would have mattered. What happened on October 13 has nothing to do with identity politics. It was a grotesque violation of decency. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.

For those of you wishing Tucker had done something in retaliation, perhaps you can rest easy knowing this:

My son threw a glass of red wine in the man’s face and told him to leave the bar, which he soon did.
