AIPAC Intermediaries between Netanyahu and Gantz

Richard Fishman, AIPAC managing director, confirmed Netanyahu’s request to visit Gantz. The report, sent to some media outlets, says that Netanyahu was scheduled to hold a meeting with Gantz in Washington March 25th with the intermediary role of AIPAC, but this meeting was not held due to Netanyahu’s immediate return to Israel. Then, with the coordination of AIPAC, the date of the meeting was postponed to April 6th.

The parties were scheduled to hold a secret meeting at the Carlton Hotel in Tel Aviv at 21:00, but at the very last minute by the agreement reached at the meeting of Kachol Lavan party it was decided that instead of Benny Gantz, Avi Nissankorn, number 5 in Kachol Lavan list, participate at the meeting. However, Netanyahu count this change as an insult and refused to talk with Nissankorn, and left the hotel immediately.
