Robert Spalding: American Companies Not Benefiting from Globalization When China Is a Part of It
General Robert Spalding has been leading the thinking on the U.S.-China Trade tensions. This interview was done before President Trump’s recent rounds of tariff increases on Chinese goods. Spalding argued for the necessity of the decoupling of the two economies which was later confirmed by the president. Spalding further asserted that American companies can’t benefit from globalization when China is allowed to be a part of it.

China products are just CRAP. Chinese have NO honor. I don’t know what they put in their silicone products but bugs just love to eat them. I find my office chair is just SPRAYED on vinyl. My expensive William-Sonoma porcelain pot just cracked right through. Never dropped.
I go through Chinese flashlights like doughnuts. Just crappy products from them. Just crap. I did mention CRAP didn’t I?
