China, Russia buying gold because ‘they can read the writing on the wall’

BATTLE FOR WORLD / YAHOO | September 12, 2019: (BattleForWorld: The corporate media continues to suppress warnings about the looming recession and the pending collapse of the economy.  And it is the opinion of some that recession signs will be postponed for a short while until the 2020 presidential election in the United States is completed.) 

It is no secret that China and Russia have been stockpiling gold at their central banks vaults, and this move has increased the precious metal price to high levels in more than six years.

“They can read the writing on the wall,” said Euro Pacific Capital CEO Peter Schiff to FOX Business, and also added that the two countries are “preparing for the world where the dollar is no longer the reserve currency.”

China’s gold reserves has increased to 1,950 tons (September 2019 assessment), according to Bloomberg. And Russia’s stock of gold has soared to more than 2,200 tons, and has claimed the place as the fifth-largest stockpile by country.
