Israeli forces storm al-Aqsa Mosque and clash with worshippers

Two weeks after Donald Trump stood in the east room of the White House and unveiled his vision for bringing peace to the Middle East, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stood in front of the UN Security Council in New York and condemned it. Brandishing a conceptual map of the redrawn territories, Abbas said the plan lacks international legitimacy, limits Palestinian sovereignty and leaves more than three million people with a state resembling ‘Swiss cheese’. We’re joined by the Charge d’Affaires of the Israeli embassy in Ankara to talk about the fallout from Trump’s announcement.

Watch as an Israeli settler abuses Palestinian women by throwing stones at them and calling them whores. All this happens while the IDF stand right there and do nothing. If it was the other way around and the Palestinians were throwing stones at the settler, they would likely be shot dead on the spot or given years in prison. An example of the apartheid system which has one rule for settlers and another for Palestinian people. Attacks on Palestinian citizens going about their daily lives at the hands of right-wing Zionist settlers -who are often fully protected in these actions by armed IOF- are a daily occurrence, and are used by the Israeli regime in an effort to make life so unbearable for the Palestinian people that they will move out of their homes and the land can slowly but surely be illegally taken-over by Zionists.
