Aftermath of Islamic State Attack in Iraq

On Saturday, ISIL (ISIS) group conducted several coordinated attacks in Iraq, killing at least 14 members of the security forces in four separate attacks. The events mark an uptick of ISIL activity over the past few months as Iraq struggles to emerge from months of political crisis. Most of the victims were members of Sunni factions of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
