1 in 5 churches facing permanent closure over the next 18 months

One of the little discussed fallouts of the pandemic is the impact upon churches. More factually, rather is the impact of the government in placing unreasonable restrictions upon the churches and synagogues. No need to provide a soliloquy of events, you know the drill. Progressives are not fond of religion. Their religion is the “State.” Marxism does not co-exist with religion. I suggest one of the intended consequences of what appears to be irrational closers of Houses of worship.

NPR has a story that suggested that perhaps as many as one in five churches will close in the next 18 months. Against this backdrop, Tucker Carlson had a disturbing story last night.

Eric Metaxas joined Tucker Carlson to discuss a New York City Priest leading his congregation in a “white privilege” prayer of repentance. Metaxas says Christians have always been at the forefront of fighting racism, but what we are seeing here is something different entirely — it’s a power play by marxists to co-opt the church.

As Metaxas said, real believers are the ones that the progressive see as the real threats to their agenda.
