Facebook VP of Integrity avoids Veritas journalist’s questions

Project Veritas recently approached Facebook’s Vice President of Integrity, Guy Rosen, to ask him some questions about what he said in a leaked internal Facebook meeting:

Guy Rosen, Facebook VP of Integrity: “We have a system that is able to freeze commenting on threads in cases where our systems are detecting that there may be a thread that has hate speech or violence…these are all things we’ve built over the past three-four years as part of our investments into the integrity space our efforts to protect the election.”

This is how Rosen reacted when he realized that Veritas journalists were seeking an explanation for his statement:
 

Rosen quickly fled the scene.

Like Facebook Head of Global Affairs Nick Clegg, Rosen had no intention of clarifying what he meant by “freeze commenting” when Facebook’s “systems are detecting there may be a thread that has hate speech or violence.”

Maybe Rosen just wants to ban speech he hates?
