Audits can validate what occurred but what happens to the findings is equally as important. States must have an Attorney General that is prepared to do the functions of the office and to prosecute offenders to the full extent of the law. If the Attorney General will not prosecute criminal activity then the audits are not beneficial. Enforcing the laws of the state or the country are essential to truth and good order in the US.
