The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement has called on all Palestinians to gather at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the day of the flag procession of leaders and activists of hardline Zionist organizations and supporters of Israel’s illegal settlement activities in Palestine.
Following the call of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Islamic Jihad also issued a separate statement today (Monday). The organization said the flag procession was a provocative and dangerous move. They have asked all Palestinians in the 1948 territory, the West Bank and Jerusalem to come to the Aqsa Mosque. The Zionists are going to hold a flag procession tomorrow (Tuesday) in the Temple Mount or the Old City of Jerusalem. The procession is expected to pass through the Damascus Gate in the Old City of Baitul Muqaddas and various Palestinian Muslim-inhabited areas tomorrow. Occupying Zionists are trying to insult Muslims through this.
In a separate statement, Hamas said it feared a new round of violence over the program. At the same time, he urged everyone to be present in the Holy Temple.
Last Thursday, a number of far-right Israeli extremist groups announced the march. However, the procession was not allowed at that time.
