Attack on a convoy of U.S. military logistics equipment in Iraq

Another convoy carrying U.S. military logistics equipment was attacked in Iraq. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Baghdad. So far, however, the United States has not responded to the new attack. No individual or organization has claimed responsibility. Attacks on US military bases and fleets in Iraq have increased recently. The Iraqi people and political parties are opposed to the US military presence in the country. They want the immediate withdrawal of US troops from the country. Earlier, the Iraqi parliament approved a bill to withdraw US troops. Former Iraqi Prime Minister and politician Nuri al-Maliki has previously said there is no need for foreign troops in the country. There are allegations that US forces have been supporting and cooperating with militant groups operating in Iraq.
