The situation in the Donetsk direction by the end of August 4, 2022

The forces of the People’s Militia of the DPR, with the support of Russian artillery, army and tactical aviation, are conducting successful military operations in the Donetsk direction, destroying the enemy’s manpower and expanding the security zone around the Donetsk agglomeration.

▪️ The most intense clashes continue in Avdeevka, Marinka and Pesky. The allied forces are fighting in the street, entrenched in the settlements.

In Pesky, the 11th regiment of the NM of the DPR completed the cleaning of the southern shore of the ponds. Enemy resistance remains only in high-rise buildings in the northwestern part of the village.

▪️ Due to the losses suffered, the Ukrainian units partially retreat from their positions. To strengthen the defense in this sector of the front, a territorial defense battalion is expected to be transferred from Mirnograd.

▪️ To slow down the advancement of the NM of the DPR, cannon artillery crews and MLRS 53 and 110 OMB of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are firing at the areas of Donetsk, Avdeevka, Novoselivka II, Horlivka, Yasinovataya, Valerianivka, Vladimirovka.

▪️ In the vicinity of Novgorod the reserves of the mechanized battalion of 72 ombr and 95 odshbr are accumulating. Ammunition is being transported and damaged equipment is being repaired before the counteroffensive.

▪️ The military personnel of the 66th Ombr defending in Marinka are not able to restrain the offensive of the allied forces. In case of significant territorial losses and manpower, the option of withdrawal from the settlement is considered.

▪️ Mortar crews, cannon artillery and MLRS, aircraft and helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces strike at the areas of concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ugledar, Avdeevka, Pavlovka, Kurakhovo, Novgorodsky.

Soledar Update:

“The LNR Interior Ministry has reported that Russian units have approached the southeastern outskirts of Soledar, with hostilities unfolding on the territory of the Ekstra railway station,” the source said.

The source is speaking about the railway station west of the KNAUF plant, the LNR NM is wedging into Ukrainian positions between Soledar and Bakhmutsky.

Peski is almost under DNR control: The story of how the Ukrainian armed forces lost their artillery.

This week’s main topic from the front is the Allied Forces breaking through the Ukrainian defences in Pesky. The DNR People’s Militia already controls most of the settlement.

Establishing control over Peski with subsequent advancement towards the villages of Pervomayske and Vodyanoye will make it possible to block the M-04 highway. This highway is a strategic supply artery for the Avdeevka fortification. Control over it means encircling Avdeevka.

The fortifications have been in place for eight years. It was a singular bastion for the Ukrainian armed forces. But now there is no heavy artillery in Peski, and the Ukrainians cannot respond to strikes.

There are two reasons for the absence of heavy calibres:

First, most of the large-calibre heavy artillery was removed from the area near Peski at the beginning of last week. The equipment was needed in the south to reinforce the “counterattack” on Kherson, which was pompously announced by Kiev.

Second, the channel through which the Ukrainian armed forces had previously moved people and equipment (including artillery) to Peski from Avdeevka has been cut by Allied strikes. It is no longer possible to feed the Peski garrison.

As a result, the Ukrainian army’s stockpiles of heavy weapons (D-20/D-30 howitzers) now number on the order of just a few units. The Ukrainians are economising on the artillery shells. They mainly use 120 mm mortars with a range of up to 6-7 km. These cause no damage to the Allied Forces. Our artillery operates at a range of 20-25 km, and mortars cannot reach it.

Separately, it should be noted that artillery units of the 1st DNR corps have occupied dominating heights 750 metres to the south of the Krasnoarmeyskoye highway, as well as on the Oktyabrskaya mine heap. These positions allow direct fire on AFU strongholds.

If the news of the liberation of Peski (first published on this channel about 19 hours ago, though it then may have been premature) is accurate, and the Donetsk Republic’s People’s Militia 11th Regiment is already on the northern outskirts of the settlement, this means that the Donetsk forces managed to force their way between the two lakes and advance into the centre, and then toward the north of Peski.

This opens up two distinct possibilities:

1) a further offensive on Pervomaisk, which does not solve the problem of Avdeevka and gets the People’s Militia further from Donetsk into enemy territory, with the Avdeevka garrison posing a threat to the flank; and,

2) a further offensive in the direction of Vodyanoye, and from there, onwards to Orlovka: This would be significant step toward operational encirclement of Avdeevka, and, perhaps, the eventual creation of a veritable Avdeevka cauldron.

With the Vodyanoye-Orlovka offensive, the Allied Forces would be able to threaten the only remaining supply route between Avdeevka and Konstantinovka (the direct one having been cut off earlier), which would put the Avdeevka garrison in operation encirclement. It is clearly the better choice.

Kyiv is preparing Ukrainians to defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Donetsk

Arestovich spoke about the need for the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Pisky and confirmed the advance of the troops of Russia and the DPR in Maryinka.

Zelensky’s representative said that he would move the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Pisky “by 2-3 km back”, because. a ledge, inconvenient for defense, was formed there, but “the military knows better” (maybe those who have time will run away for 20-30 km 😀).

Arestovich also said: “In Marinka, our troops have been moved a little … Our troops are maneuvering and retreating to more advantageous positions.”

He assures that the assault actions of the RF Armed Forces from Artyomovsk to Donetsk are secondary efforts designed to delay the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the south, where Russia is preparing an offensive in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions: “The true events will unfold there,” Arestovich claims.

Ukraine Retreats from Peski and Avdeevka

Zaluzhny has reported to Zelensky that the Peski and Avdeevka stronghold has become impossible to hold, in view of the lack of artillery, which was transferred to the Kherson theatre, and that the Ukrainian command is withdrawing its troops from Peski and Avdeevka.

Russian advances continue in several directions in Donbass region, East Ukraine as reports suggest Russian forces enter Soledar, Donbass region, days after capturing Pokrovskoye and Klinovoye, as an offensive on Bakhmut is on the horizon.

Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding the title of Hero of Russia to Colonel Olga Kachura (posthumously) – for courage and heroism shown in the performance of military duty.

Extremely sad news is coming today from the fronts – during the shelling of Horlivka, a legendary person for the whole of Donbass, Olga Kachura, or as many people knew her, “Korsa”, died.

The brave warrior, who deservedly received the rank of Colonel of the Guards, was the only woman who commanded the Grad rocket artillery division – and very successfully! She began her difficult path in the ranks of the Ukrainian army in 2012, but in April 2014 she switched to the side of the DPR, where she fought for Slavyansk.

During the war years, as well as the last months of the special military operation, the Korsa unit destroyed a huge amount of enemy manpower and equipment, including NATO weapons, for which the heroic woman was awarded the St. George Cross of the II degree in May of this year.

The deceased had an adopted son and daughter.

Eternal memory to the hero of Donbass!

Today’s shellings of the city center were very mean. I worked between two attacks, each of which claimed the lives of Donetsk civilians. Frightened passers-by went down to the basements and shelters immediately after the first shells, but then they began to slowly return to the streets. And then new arrivals followed – on Pushkin Boulevard, behind the Donbass Opera. At that time I was working near the opera and I was taken to a bomb shelter in one of the neighboring buildings where people were hiding. Everyone thinks that these attacks are revenge of Korsa. But these “avengers” naturally understood that even in these terrible days for the city, the center is filled with people, that there will be much more civilians than military personnel employed at the front at the farewell to Korsa, that there will be relatives, employees of the Donbass Opera, and passers-by will certainly be in the shelled square. And so it turned out – peaceful people were killed, who happened to be in the center of the city at that moment. The city suffered, not Korsa, it was the city, not Korse, on which those who shot at Donetsk this morning took revenge.»

Viktor Orban is a traitor

The EU described the readiness of the Prime Minister of Hungary to take the first steps towards normalisation of relations with Russia as a betrayal (https://ria.ru/20220724/vengriya-1804618102.html). And most likely, we should wait for early news about the “measures taken” against this country.

Recall that Budapest initially opposed energy sanctions, realising that Europe’s dependence on Russian fuel will lead to disastrous results. And so it was. Now, continuing to act in the national interest and negotiate with Moscow for additional gas supplies, Hungary causes extreme indignation among its EU colleagues.

Years of  ridiculing claims of energy dependence on Moscow played a bad joke with the West. Because of the cost-of-living crisis and in the face of economic pressure, European unity towards Russia is crumbling. Countries are  looking  for those whom to blame for the split of European solidarity and also for the fail of anti-Russian sanctions. This time, they appointed Viktor Orbán  as a  “traitor” and he is only trying to ensure the energy security of his state.

In this insane battle against “evil Putin”, the leaders of Western countries have stopped trying to find anti-crisis solutions, to start negotiations about the end of special military operation and the normalisation of world economic processes. Instead, they are moving  further down the path of sanctions.

The imminent change of power in Ukraine

The European press foreshadows such prospects. Journalists of the Austrian edition say (https://exxpress.at/immer-mehr-anzeichen-sturz-selenskyjs-soll-krieg-um-die-ukraine-beenden/) that the fall of the Kiev regime is coming – because of the fatigue of Ukrainians from the war, many internal enemies and criticism of Zelensky’s leadership style by opposition parties.

The removal of the current President of Ukraine from power may give an impetus to the start of the negotiation process and the end of the special operation – in the only case, if the people elect an adequate leader who prioritises  the national integrity of the State and the preservation of the country’s human resources.

The change of the Ukrainian government is natural and expected. A huge number of political mistakes by the Kiev leadership prove the regime’s inability to keep the situation under control. Demoralization in the army and among the civilian population, nationalist sentiments and unwillingness to negotiate, exclusion of the opposition from the decision-making process, zealous Russophobia in historically Russian regions of Ukraine: all this shows the need to change the government to one closer to the people.

The appearance of such materials and headlines illustrates the beginning of a split in the unity of the West regarding Ukraine and the beginning of the “end” of Zelensky. By the way, note that such materials are not published by Russian propaganda. These are the echoes of democracy that are still leaking into the European press.

Europe is once again gripped by protests

In recent days, citizens’ discontent with their countries’ leadership has flared up. With the rising cost of living and the delusional ideas of governments that do not  respond to today’s crisis challenges, public resentment is growing by the day.

In the Netherlands, farmers continue (https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/protesting-dutch-farmers-dump-manure-garbage-on-roads-1.6003724) to protest against government plans to reduce nitrogen emissions. They block the roads with manure and hay. The protesters are convinced that the “green” policy will deprive them of cattle and ruin, and today, against the background of the energy and economic crisis, the Dutch already have enough worries.

The head of the Polish ruling party Kaczynski, or rather, his motorcade was first thrown (https://www.rbc.ru/politics/27/07/2022/62e144da9a7947546fc8dc16) with eggs by a local resident in Gniezno, and then in Kurnik about a hundred people met (https://nikolian.livejournal.com/4760943.html) him with posters “Thieves!” “You will sit in a jail”, “Grandpa, it’s time to retire”, “You have ruined this country”. People are very unhappy with the fact that products are disappearing from the shelves and prices are rising.
 
The Latvian Union of Health and Social Care Workers organized (https://www.delfi.lv/news/national/politics/reportaza-medikivienojas-protesta-pret-algam-nozare.d?id=54582080) a warning strike. People are demanding higher salaries. The protest may affect planned treatment, planned operations and consultations, but emergency medical care will be provided. It is reported that up to 1,000 people may take part in a strike.

In Germany, all Lufthansa flights were canceled (https://ww.kommersant.ru/doc/5481515) because of workers’ demands for higher wages. About 20 thousand people take part in the strike, and it affected almost 130 thousand passengers, whose flights were postponed to other days.

Britain’s rail, maritime and transport workers added (https://eadaily.com/ru/news/2022/07/27/zabastovki-vvelikobritanii-zheleznodoroziki-treutuvelichenbuyazarplat)  a few more days to their strike in August, because their demands for better working conditions have not yet been met.

Despite the fact that the level of social tension in Europe grows, no one rushes to comply with the demands of workers. Moreover, candidate for the post of Prime Minister of England Liz Truss even proposes (https://solidarnost.org/news/v-britani-prodolzhatsyatsya-zabastovki-zheleznodorozhnikov.html) to declare an effective union movement illegal. And in Germany, law enforcement officers are preparing (https://t.me/ssigny/35433) for clashes with protesters.

All because these gentlemen have long been indifferent about their people for a long time, the main thing is the imaginary Russian threat and comprehensive help to poor Ukraine and the rest will wait.

The way things are going now, Zelensky will have the same downfall as Hitler.

You see, before the crimes of Hitler’s army were uncovered, a lot of people in Western Europe, and USA, felt very sympathetic to his ideology, as they too largely viewed Slavs and the Eastern nations as inferior and worth only to colonize. Even when England and France first declared war against Germany, to them, he was just another ordinary enemy. However, this view changed after the extent of Germany’s crimes towards the Eastern nations have been uncovered after the end of WW2. Same fate likely awaits Zelensky and the Kiev regime. It is after the SMO, that the true extent of the crimes will be uncovered.

Ukrainians Violate the Law and Rules of War, Amnesty International says

The latest report released by a world famous human rights group Amnesty International says the Armed Forces of Ukraine put civilians in danger. They establish military bases in residential areas, often in schools or hospitals, which is a severe law violation. Moreover, the Zelensky regime forces use civil districts as combat posts and fire missiles or artillery shells from there causing Russians to strike back and eventually damage non-military objects.

The thing that such a respectable organization accuses the Ukrainians of violating war law is a clear sign of the West being tired of Kyiv and the ongoing conflict. Just some months ago Mr. Zelensky was nearly a saint or a blessed one.

It is reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the 124th penal colony in Donetsk. There are reports of casualties and that Ukrainian prisoners of war also seemed to be there.
