Somali Battalion, with support from 3rd Spetsnaz and 11th   Infantry have cleaned out all nazi terrorists from the entire town. This is a HUGE victory. Peski is the smallest of the three main ukrop army bases on the Donetsk Front, but with its liberation, a wedge has been driven between Mari’inka and Avdeevka, the two main bases of nazi military closest to Donetsk.

The situation remains very tough – ukrop nazis are counter-attacking with everything they have; BMP, tanks, artillery, attack helicopters and special forces units, day and night. Our guys have taken some serious hits, but continue to hold the town and are advancing. This breakthrough has the potential to greatly speed up the encirclement of Mari’iinka and Avdeevka, though the ukrop base at Oputnoy will have to be dealt with on the way to Avdeevka.

Since January 2015, Peski has been a major firing point for bombing out frontline positions along the Front, as well as for launching terrorist bombings against civilians in Donetsk. In 2015, on the frontlines in Vesoleye village between Peski and Donetsk airport, I was bombed from Peski every day. Now, after 8 years, the days of nazis bombing us from there are now over. Thanks to God, and to the courage and determination of our guys. It is a proud and pivotal day. The is the first major breakthrough against the ukrop nazi lines on the Donetsk Front, and it was done by our local guys on the ground. BIG thanks, of course, to Russian cannons and aviation, but the real glory of this victory belongs to the Heroes of the DPR.

There are still hard days ahead, but I believe the Liberation of Peski will prove to be a watershed moment in the liberation and de-nazification of Ukraine. #Nevelskoye under Fire – Report⚡️

The Russian Armed Forces have hit targets in this village northwest of #Donetsk, which is one of the AFU strongholds on the outskirts of Donetsk city.

It is also a part of the artillery positions from which the residential areas of the DPR capital are shelled. The residents have long since left their homes, and the headquarters of the Ukrainian units is located in the centre of the settlement.

There isn’t much between both cities, and this would make the Kirovskiy raion, one of the main victims of their bombardments, safer.
