The offensive on Donbass: the situation in eastern Ukraine by the end of September 11, 2022

🔻In the Kharkiv direction:

The armed forces of the Russian Federation have practically withdrawn troops from the territory of the Kharkiv region. The control of the APU over Volchansk, Veliky Burluk, Goptovka and Liptsy has been confirmed.

The new front line runs along the Oskol River, on the left bank of which Russian Armed Forces units are digging in. Information about the advance of the APU towards Svatovo and even Starobilsk are informational stuffing.

Late in the evening, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on the CHP in Kharkiv and Zmiev, which led to a temporary power outage in the region and neighboring regions.

🔻On the Limansky direction:

Russian units still maintain control over the Estuary, heavy fighting with superior enemy forces is taking place in the vicinity of the city. The APU is attempting to reach the settlement from the east through the induced crossing near Zakotny in order to create a springboard for further movement towards Kremennaya.

🔻In the Soledar direction:

Detachments of the Wagner PMCs are fighting near the industrial zone near Patrice Lumumba Street on the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut (Artemovsk).

🔻In the Donetsk direction:

In the Donetsk direction, the shelling of Ukrainian formations in the capital of the DPR and surrounding settlements does not stop. Positional clashes continue in the suburbs of Donetsk, the AFU is transferring reinforcements to Krasnogorovka for a possible strike from the Avdiivka site.

🔻In the Ugledar direction:

The Ukrainian command is pulling reserves to the Ugledar direction. An echelon with 150 units of military equipment arrived at the station in Pokrovsky. In preparation for a possible counteroffensive, the engineering and sapper units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began dismantling their own minefields on the approaches to Ugledar.

🔻In the Zaporozhye direction:

Artillery duels are taking place on the contact line. On the night of September 11, due to regular attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Zaporozhye NPP, the last working unit at the facility was turned off.

1. The enemy continued to occupy the abandoned settlements in the north of Kharkov region.

2. The Russian Armed Forces continue to equip new positions on the border between Ukraine and Kharkov Oblast.

3. The Russian Armed Forces continue to reinforce the front on the Oskol River. The defence of Krasny Liman, which is under attack by the enemy, continues.

4. Svatovo and Lisichansk are under full control of the RF Armed Forces and LNR army – the AFU was not and is not there.

5. The enemy slowly continues to occupy Izyum, but the capture of the city has not yet been officially announced, it will probably be announced tomorrow.

6. Kupyansk is still divided into two parts: the AFU in the west and the RF Armed Forces in the east.

7. The enemy is accumulating forces in the Donetsk and Kherson directions, there may be attempts to strike in the next 1-2 days.
The AFU did not use all available reserves in the Balakleya operation.

8. As a result of overnight strikes on power generation facilities, 2 thermal power plants were severely damaged, causing a crisis of power supply in a number of regions of Ukraine. With a systemic impact on the energy system, the Russian Federation is well positioned to bring about an energy collapse in Ukraine.

Ukrainian forces take control of semi-abandoned towns in Kharkov on the Bakaleya-Izyum positions where Russian forces have no significant military presence except for a few detachments to carry out reconnaissance missions. The city of Bakaleya is almost besieged by Ukrainian forces, but Russian units are still fighting in it.

Two main thermal power plants of the left-bank Ukraine are hit, a country-wide blackout is possible in Ukraine, as power grid management tries desperately to level to load after the loss of the generation capacities, #YURI reports. Well, this morning the last working power unit at #Zaporozhye NPP was shut down ☢️

Why did this happen? Because the Ukrainian Armed Forces have hit the nuclear power plant to no end. Yes, actually, if only on it. Infrastructure objects, especially power engineering, are perhaps the main target for the Ukrainian military. They hit the thermal power plant in #Donetsk and #Luhansk. They are destroying power lines.
Energy facilities are a target for Ukrainian saboteurs, and not just in the republics. #Belgorod recently.

If Kiev starts getting hit, it’s pretty safe to assume that the Russian Command has lost its diplomatic approach to this war (which is frankly stupid when your enemy is anything but diplomatic. However, the Russians are known for their annoyingly rigid patience in politics)
