On Sunday, 2 October 2022, at around 11:00 A.M., dozens of settlers arrived at the Beit El (DCO) Checkpoint, blocked the road and threw stones at passing Palestinian cars in the presence of soldiers. They then went towards a house located near the checkpoint and were about to attack it, when soldiers who had come there stopped them. At that point, Palestinians arrived to defend the house, and in a confrontation that developed with the soldiers, the soldiers fired tear gas canisters at them.

On Thursday, 6 October 2022, at around 11:00 P.M., dozens of settlers gathered near the Beit El/DCO Checkpoint and attacked passing Palestinian cars with stones in full view of soldiers, damaging several of them. No one was injured. On Sunday, 9 October 2022, dozens of settlers gathered at the spot again, with a military escort. This time, they blocked the road with rocks and threw large stones at passing Palestinian cars. The drivers were forced to turn around and flee and several cars were damaged. No one was injured. The soldiers escorting the settlers removed the rocks from the road but did not prevent the settlers from attacking the cars. On the evening of Tuesday, 11 October 2022, settlers blocked traffic at the spot for about an hour and threw stones at passing Palestinian cars in full view of soldiers, damaging several vehicles.
