Fighting intensifies around eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut

One of the enemys’ main goals is to seize the #Zaporozhye region, including #Energodar and #ZNPP. The NPP has been the subject of negotiations (https://t.me/rybar/42063) mediated by the IAEA since late last year.

Then the Ukrainians tried to push through the creation of first a 30km and then a 5km buffer zone around the #ZNPP with the full withdrawal of Russian troops and equipment, including air defence. The Russians rejected the demands, so no agreement could be reached.

🔹What is happening at the Moment?

Units of the 121st and 129th Territorial Defence  (TD) Brigades are concentrated on the Kakhovka Reservoir coast on the right bank of the #Dnieper River. The 178th Battalion of the 121st TD Brigade operates at the #Maryanskoye – #Dudchany line, and 5 Battalions of the 129th TD Brigade are stationed along the reservoir on the #Nikopol – #Ilyinskoye – #Kanevskoye line.

In the last 3 months, at the training ground in #Maryanskoye, under the leadership of the tactical special forces group of the South command, assault groups have been preparing to force water barriers and land troops on the unequipped coast

💥4 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been foiled close to Novoselovskoye (LPR), Olshana and Krakhmalnoye (Kharkov region). The enemy losses were up to 110 servicemen, 2 AFVs, 3 motor vehicles and 1 Grad MLRS.

◽️In Krasny Liman direction, the attacks, launched by Ground-Assault aviation and artillery of the Tsentr Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of AFU units near Torskoye (DPR), Chervonopopovka and Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR).

◽️In Donetsk direction, the assault squads seized 4 neighbourhoods in the northwestern, western and southwestern parts of Artyomovsk. The Airborne Troops restrain the enemy on the northern and southern outskirts of the city and support the actions of the assault squads.

💥Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Yug Group of Forces inflicted a fire damage on the enemy units close to Stupochki, Chasov Yar and Kalinin. The Russian aviation have made 4 sorties in this area during the day. The Group’s artillery have performed 59 firing missions.

💥The enemy losses were over 400 servicemen and mercenaries, 2 IFVs, 6 AFVs, 4 motor vehicles, D-20 and D-30 howitzers, as well as 1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery gun.

◽️1 U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery warfare radar has been destroyed near Novgorodskoye (DPR).

◽️In South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Vostok Group of Forces inflicted a fire damage on the AFU units close to Ugledar, Nikolskoye and Novomikhaylovka (DPR).

💥The enemy losses were up to 60 servicemen, 1 APC, Tor-M1 self-propelled air defence system, 3 motor vehicles, as well as 1 U.S. M777 artillery system.

💥Ammunition depots of the 72nd AFU Mechanised Brigade have been destroyed close to Vodyanoye and Uglesborochnaya railway station (DPR).

◽️In Kherson direction, as a result of artillery fire the enemy losses were up to 30 servicemen, 4 AFU S-300 surface-to-air missile system launching ramps, 1 German Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft system, 2 motor vehicles, as well as 2 D-30 howitzers have been destroyed.

💥Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the RF Armed Forces have neutralised 87 artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 109 areas.

◽️The command and control posts of the Ukrainian Yug Special Operations Forces, the AFU 110th Mechanised Brigade and the 58th Motorised Infantry Brigade have been hit close to Cherkesskoye (Kherson region), Avdeyevka and Serebryanka (DPR).

The leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation on defense and security issues, combating illegal migration and climate change, strengthening energy security, protecting human rights, scientific research and innovative development. It is emphasized that the development of bilateral ties is of particular importance in connection with “unprecedented global challenges,” including the conflict in Ukraine, “which poses a specific threat to the security and common values” of the two states.
