Today, around 7 am, Serbs in four northern municipalities blocked the entrance to the buildings where illegitimate “mayors” were supposed to arrive. Serbs do not recognize fictitious elections in which 3% of the population participated. “Kosovo policemen” and soldiers of the NATO international contingent (KFOR) immediately began to gather at the buildings.

The Serbs demanded that the “mayors” and “Kosovo police” leave the municipality buildings and the north of the province, after which KFOR began to threaten with a forceful solution.

Clashes in Zvecan began around 17:30 Moscow time, when KFOR began to use force to help the “Kosovo police” and the “mayor” leave the city hall.

Aleksandar Vučić, during an address to the nation, said that as a result of the clashes, 52 Serbs turned to the Kosovska Mitrovica hospital. Three are in serious condition, doctors are still fighting for the life of one. From the KFOR peacekeeping contingent – 41 wounded. Fire on the unarmed crowd was opened by a security officer of the Kosovo special forces ROSU.

According to Vučić, Pristina’s goal is to push Serbia into conflict with NATO.
