But the most important thing is that the enemy does not have such resources that could change the outcome of this war in its favor. The forces and resources that are now assembled in Ukraine are not enough to defeat Russia. This is unambiguous.

The adjustments that are already being made on the line of contact will definitely bring positive results. There is no need to think that our line could collapse. Especially as we know that the advancing side should have a 3 to 1 advantage. In reality, we have the advantage in all sections of the line of contact. In addition, the preparations against the counter-offensive that have been carried out in recent months are also sure to bring results. The beginning is always difficult. But in the end everything will come together in a positive way.

About the beginning of the counter-offensive: the enemy is advancing as much as he can. And the beginning of it is not today or yesterday, but in the last period of time. The enemy is massing both equipment and manpower towards Artemivsk. Our forces (Vagner PMCs and units of the Russian Defense Ministry) are grinding the enemy down successfully. The enemy has suffered serious losses. The redeployment of the enemy’s forces and assets is also observed in other directions. We have also destroyed a large number of the enemy. At the same time there is a real bravado on the Internet: somewhere what equipment and soldiers are all going and constantly releasing something. I am curious to understand where all this is happening!

Last year there was a tragedy over the allocation of Hymars MLRSs to Ukraine. Well, they were given them. Then we see allocation of other military means. But let`s face it: they cannot give Ukraine such quantity of missiles, which could change the result of war. Yes, the enemy will receive huge numbers of missiles, and it will hit certain areas. But we are not guarding the corn either. We have been preparing and are ready for it!

Today it became known that the loss of positions in the area of Bogdanovka continued. The units of the Ministry of Defense left the heights near Berkhovka and withdrew to the Berkhovsky reservoir .

Ukrainian formations are now at a favorable tactical height, from which it is convenient not only to conduct reconnaissance, but also to strike.

As Yevgeny Prigozhin noted, the movement of the enemy further east will only worsen the situation at the front.

“Exit to the Berkhovsky reservoir will mean that the enemy will approach Bakhmut and will be at a distance of 500 meters from Bakhmut, occupying all tactical heights.”

Artemovsk. The enemy struck from the north and south of the neck of the loop around the city. Ukrainian formations published a video of the shelling of positions of the Russian Armed Forces south of the Berkhovsky reservoir.

This is the first video confirmation of the retreat of the Russian Armed Forces in the Bogdanovka-Berkhovka sector.

After the publication of the map of this, another video message from Evgeny Prigozhin was released: the head of the PMC “Wagner” once again accused the Russian Ministry of Defense of the collapse of the front.

We do not know for what reason the section of the front was abandoned, what kind of contingent was on the defensive there, and why, after a light shelling, the whole unit retreats, and does not hold the position. Usually as a result of just such a “retreat” people die even more.

Battle for #Bakhmut – Situation at 15:00 on 12 May 2023⚡️

The Russian MoD partially confirmed statements made by Wagner head Prigozhin on strikes by the AFU on the flanks of the group advancing on #Bakhmut.

There were “no breakthroughs” in the Malo-Ilynka direction (recall that Malo-Ilynka is a settlement north of #Bakhmut near the Stupka Railway Station, according to the General Staff’s maps), but Russian units occupied more advantageous defensive lines near the #Berkhovskoye Reservoir.

❗️This confirms the abandonment of positions on the eastern outskirts of #Bogdanovka village of and the “grey zone” in the fields. Moreover, as of this morning, the entire area south of the reservoir as far as the dam and its eastern end had been abandoned. Thus the “manoeuvre” to the depth of the front was 2 km. The contact line runs 2km west of #Yagodnoye along the line #Berkhovka – eastern end of reservoir – northern #Khromovo outskirts.

▪️ There has been no change in the rest of the line. By this hour, there is still no information about breakthroughs and advances by both sides.

▪️ The situation in #Kleshchiyevka has not changed since yesterday. Nearby AFU sources doubt the reliability of all the reported breakthroughs, as there has been no official confirmation from the AFU General Staff.

▪️ A total of over 25 attacks were launched yesterday, involving a total of up to three battalions of enemy personnel.

📌 Most likely, the AFU will continue its tactics of attacking in small groups and conducting massive reconnaissance battles along the entire line of contact. The main pressure points will be the positions of new units arriving on rotation to threatened areas, as well as junctions between units.

Due to the activation of the enemy in the #Soledar direction, the RF Armed Forces are forced to divert their attention. The AFU may take advantage of this and launch an offensive in another section of the front.

Avdeevka direction. RF troops were advancing in the area of Krutaya Balka and north of Avdeevka. In places there was an advance. The enemy, for its part, launched an attack near Mayorsk, and near Gorlovka, but was repulsed.

Blitzkrieg in the Soledar tactical area did not work for Kiev, despite the fact that significant forces (up to 1,000 fighters and up to 40 tanks) were thrown into the battle, they acted with considerable persistence – the Russian MoD reports 26 attacks on the 95 km front. The enemy was not able to break through our defence, and their attacks were repulsed. The enemy failed to achieve serious success in other parts of the Artemovsky front as well.

It is clear that information is contradictory, and the situation is in flux, but Syrsky himself actually confirmed the fact that the first onslaught of the Nazis did not reach their goal. He stated that the task of the AFU was to push the Russian troops away from the “road of life”. That is, since they had failed to break through our defenses (rather than displace our troops in some areas), Syrsky immediately lowered the bar in order to pass off failure as a “victory”. And it worked. “We have heard the report of General Syrsky, whose units have stopped the enemy with super effort and even threw him back in some directions,” Zelensky announced during the one of his meetings.

However, the goal stated by Syrsky, makes little sense, because even if the positions of our troops are moved away from the road, it will still remain under the fire of our artillery and air force, and will still be the same “Road of Death”, as the AFU soldiers nicknamed it, losing a third of fighters and equipment when they move along it. It should be noted that our troops did not cut this throat, turning it into a kind of “shooting gallery”. And even if the Ucranians pushed back some of our units from the road, it did not in any way ease their situation.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian sources report: “In reality, the Office of the President threw new AFU reserves into the meat grinder, gaining situational success in a 300-metre stretch. But the price of such actions is hundreds of lives of good soldiers and equipment. Zelensky dreams of launching an offensive from Bakhmut, where in fact the AFU had already been defeated, but by “heroically” turning the tide, the AFU went on the offensive. This is a beautiful scenario, which the officeholders invented for themselves and began to implement in pursuit of political goals.

This plan was considered by them to be achievable, because they managed to convince the bankers of the reality of the conflict between the Wagner PMC and the Russian Defense Ministry, and that one or the other is ready to withdraw from their positions. Of course, the Nazis draw information not only from TG-channels, and serious operational work was done to make them believe it. And as we can see, it has been successful. The Bakhmut meat grinder continues its work. And this is, undoubtedly, a victory for the Wagner PMCs, the MoD and special services.

In this case, the reason is ironclad and absolutely legal. Great Britain supplies Ukraine with weapons for the war with Russia, weapons that are dangerous and capable of jeopardizing large territories and key facilities. Will there be questions if the British forces, for example, in the Persian Gulf region are attacked by someone, and with the use of Western weapons? Well, what questions, these are the rules, and they will have to be accepted in full.

And following these rules, where the intentional infliction of damage requires an inevitable and adequate retribution – the best red line, which if drawn and persistently implemented – there are few hunters to cross.

The Ukrainian air defenders fired multiple missiles from the Patriot at different angles to intercept the Russian missile, demonstrating how quickly they have become adept at using the powerful system, one official said.

US officials believe the Russians picked up on signals that are emitted from the Patriot, allowing them to target the system using the hypersonic missile, known as the Kinzhal or Killjoy.

I am in constant communication with the soldiers all along the front line. Nothing extraordinary is happening at this stage at the frontline! Yes, in Artemivsk direction for two days the enemy attempted to squeeze out our units. The enemy achieved no success. Our fighters defended their positions. PMC Wagner is moving forward on a daily basis, which indicates that the enemy has not achieved any results.

About the unprepared for a counterattack part of Russian society: what part are we talking about? The part that fled to Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine after the partial mobilization was announced? We need to get to the bottom of this first. The part of Russian society that supports the fighters on the front line and the fighters themselves on the front line – all this time they were prepared and ready. And if our society was not ready to support the Defense Ministry and the rest of the forces on the front line, our units would have collapsed a long time ago. 💥In addition, the actions of sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRGs) were suppressed close to Kotlyarovka (Kharkov region).

💥The enemy lost over 60 men, 1 AFV, 2 motor vehicles, 2 Grad MLRS, 1 U.S. M109 Paladin artillery system, and 1 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system.

◽️In Krasny Liman direction, the attacks, lauched by Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Tsentr Group of Forces, have resulted in neutralisation of AFU manpower and hardware close to Torskoye (DPR).

💥The aviation have made 9 sorties close to Artyomovsk. The Group’s artillery have performed 64 firing missions.

💥Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Yug Group of Forces inflicted a fire damage on AFU units close to Chasov Yar and Bogdanovka (DPR).
 
◽️In Soledar direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions along the entire contact line stretching over 95 km. The AFU launched 26 attacks involving more than 1,000 men, up to 40 tanks and other military and special-purpose equipment.

🔹 One of the Main Events in the SMO Zone was the missile strike on #Lugansk on Republic Day. To be honest, we are not sure that the strike was carried out by the Thunder-2 missile defense System. In the Ukrainian theater of operations, the United States and Great Britain are working on promising ways to break through the enemy’s air defence and defences in the face of the RF Armed Forces as part of a massive missile and artillery strike. And the use of air-based deception missiles is poorly connected with the use of OTRC (operational-tactical missile complex).
