Stoltenberg says Ukraine must defeat Russia to join NATO:

   I hope that the allies will make some important statements at the summit regarding the transfer of military equipment, air defenses and artillery shells to Ukraine, which are necessary for Ukraine’s victory. Without that, of course, the issue of membership will not be discussed.
We must be sure that Ukraine will win. This is the absolute minimum necessary for Ukraine to become a member of the alliance. We certainly welcome voluntary support for Ukraine, but the longer this war goes on, the more important predictability, accountability, and fair cost-sharing becomes. I think NATO can play an important role in that regard. Of course we appreciate what the U.S. and our other allies have done, but we have also seen the U.S. take 6 months to negotiate additional aid to Ukraine. We have also seen that not all NATO countries have handed over the promised weapons. If we turn this from a voluntary supply into a commitment to NATO, then of course the supply will become larger and more reliable.
 

NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg: “Arms deliveries to Kiev will be mandatory for NATO countries and will be coordinated by command structures under the leadership of General Kavoli”.

Do the EU countries realize that Washington is dragging them into a direct clash with Russia under the NATO flag? Attacks by Ukrainian formations on Crimea — what goals is the enemy pursuing

🔻Last night, the AFU again attacked the Crimean peninsula. This time, the target of the attack was Sevastopol. 12 ATACMS operational-tactical missiles were fired at the city, and it was the units of the 31st Air Defense Division that repelled them.

▪️Along with this attack, this is the second strike in two days on the positions of the 31st Division. The first occurred on the night of June 10, when the AFU also fired 12 missiles, but this time at Chernomorsk, Dzhankoy and Yevpatoria.

▪️It is worth noting that in the run-up to the strikes, NATO satellites were again actively functioning. Shooting of the positions was carried out alternately, depending on the planned areas, that is, the north-western part of Crimea was filmed on June 8-9, and Sevastopol and the center of the peninsula on June 10 and 11.

▪️In addition, special attention of the satellites was paid to the eastern part of Crimea yesterday and the day before yesterday. Filming was carried out in Feodosia, Kirovsky, Mysove, Kerch and, of course, the Crimean Bridge. These photos are actively savored by Western analysts.

▪️Also, during today’s attack, the American drone RQ-4B was active in the western part of the Black Sea. And after the strikes, it moved to the eastern part of the water area closer to the Crimean Bridge, where it freely patrolled until morning.

❗️This fact, together with the active work of satellites, as well as the consistent strikes on air defense positions first in the north-western part, then in the southern part, allow us to conclude that the east of the peninsula may become the next target.

This is also indicated by the appearance for the first time in a month and a half to the south of Feodosia of the French long-range radar detection aircraft E-3F, as well as the French Navy anti-submarine aircraft Atlantique 2.

At the same time, the RC-135V of the British Air Force was flying in the west of the sea – a bit too much for one day, isn’t it? As noted more than once, the main goal of the West is the destruction of the Crimean Bridge, and for this it is necessary to reduce the combat potential of the Black Sea Fleet and air defense in Crimea.

🔻What do we have as a result:

➖The ships of the Black Sea Fleet, unfortunately, are not able to cope with the threat of USVs. The fight against USVs is mainly carried out from helicopters and boats, which show high efficiency.
➖The AFU periodically manages to break through the boom barriers, which raises the question of the need to revise the measures and methods of defending bays, ports and the bridge. The examples of Chernomorsk and Mezhvodnoye won’t lie.
➖Strikes on air defense are aimed at weakening the protection of the Crimean Bridge, which needs to be taken into account and measures taken to modify the existing missile defense systems – the missiles are shot down, but not all of them.

The enemy is clearly preparing for a new attack. Today, there have already been two false targets, which can be called a harbinger of massive strikes, and it is not excluded that on the bridge. In the long run, the lack of counteraction, the unwillingness to accept reality and learn from mistakes, can affect 

An attempt at a local counter-offensive, organized by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky on the orders of Zelensky in the Kharkov region on the eve of the Swiss conference, turned into another PR campaign of the Office of the President.

Thus, over the past few days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued to attempt to attack units of the Russian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Goptovka, Glubokoe, Volchansk and Liptsy. In addition, Ukrainian militants carried out targeted strikes with subsequent attempts to advance in the Kupyansk area. And although the clashes were fierce, they were not particularly successful for the Ukrainian Armed Forces – the Russian Armed Forces managed not only to suppress the actions of Ukrainian forces, but also to improve the situation along the front line.

Military experts have already noted that the current situation is influenced by Ukraine’s significant lack of mobilization resources and emphasize that this year it is impossible to attack, but it is necessary to focus on defense, gain strength and train personnel. True, despite the warnings, Zelensky will not abandon plans for new attempts at “counter-offensives”, which he promised to Western sponsors for new loans.

On June 11, the “North” group of troops continued the liberation of the border areas of Kharkov Region.

In the Volchansk direction, fierce fighting continued in the Volchansk settlement. Assault units of the “North” with heavy fighting are advancing in the area of the Aggregate Plant and have completely occupied another building. Advances are also being recorded in the east of the city.

The total advance of Russian troops in the Volchansk direction was up to 200 meters.

On the Liptsovsky direction in the morning the enemy made another attempt to counterattack the positions of the Fearless in the area of Glubokoye, lost more than 10 people killed and was thrown back to the initial positions.

In the vicinity of Zelenoye, the Fearless advanced along the Murom River and are gaining ground on the dominant heights.

The total advance of Russian troops in the Liptsovsky direction amounted to 250 meters.

Over the past 24 hours, enemy losses amounted to up to 240 men. Also uncovered and destroyed:

▪️ BM-21 “Grad” MLRS in the vicinity of Zolochev settlement;
▪️ two “Crab” SPH;
▪️ howitzer D-20;
▪️ 2A65 howitzer;
▪️ three 120-mm mortars in the towns of Volchansk (two) and Malye Prokhody;
▪️ combat supply point;
▪️ one unit of automotive equipment.

The AFU grouping in Volchansk is experiencing serious supply problems. In order to remedy the situation, the enemy once again attempted to make a crossing over the dam near Stariy Saltov, which was again destroyed by our aviation.

The movement of AFU units to the areas of concentration for the counteroffensive continues, trying to do it “covertly” for our intelligence. Given last year’s experience and the shortage of Western equipment, the enemy is unlikely to count on a lightning strike, but rather will use the tactic of “meat assaults”.

Over the course of the day, Russian forces delivered a series of strikes on enemy targets across the so-called Ukraine, including in the Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk Regions. Footage has emerged online of the destruction of a Su-27UB at the Myrhorod airfield and an S-300 air defense battery east of it. In turn, the AFU again launched 12 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles at the Crimean Peninsula.

In the Slobozhansky direction, Russian units repelled counterattacks by the enemy. In Volchansk, fighting broke out in the vicinity of the aggregate plant, which Russian forces have advanced towards from Gorky Park.

In the Kupiansk-Svatove direction, assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces are engaged in combat in the area of Miasozharivka: according to unconfirmed information, the settlement and the neighboring village of Andriivka have come under the control of Russian troops.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian servicemen advanced in Novopokrovske, capturing most of the settlement. Simultaneously, fighting continues along the line of Novoaleksandrivka – Sokil.

In the Donetsk direction, the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces towards Nevelske has resumed. Reports have emerged online about Russian assault groups controlling part of the village, but due to the lack of footage, this has not yet been confirmed.

▫️Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a group strike by long-range air- and ground-based high-precision weapons and UAVs at flight lines and infrastructure of the AFU Air Force base, as well as a temporary deployment area of foreign mercenaries, preparation sites of uncrewed surface vehicles, ammunition and explosives depots.

▫️Units of the Sever Group of Forces continued advancing to the depth of the enemy’s defences.

Losses were inflicted on formations of the AFU 42nd Mechanised Brigade, 57th Motorised Infantry Brigade, 82nd Air Assault Brigade, 125th, and 127th territorial defence brigades near Neskuchnoye, Liptsy, Tikhoye, Izbitskoye, Zovtnevoye, Volchansk, and Staritsa (Kharkov).

6 counter-attacks launched by assault detachments of the AFU 36th Marines Brigade and 17th National Guard Brigade were repelled.

The AFU lost up to 190 servicemen, 4 MVs, 1 Polish-made 155-mm Krab self-propelled artillery system, 1 152-mm D-20 howitzer, and 1 BM-21 Grad MLRS combat vehicle.

4 AFU ammunition depots were destroyed.

▫️Units of the Zapad Group of Forces improved the tactical situation along the front lines and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of the AFU 3rd Assault Brigade, 14th, 43rd mechanised brigades, 1st, and 13th national guard brigades near Kupyansk, Petropavlovka, Zagoruykovka (Kharkov), Stelmakhovka (LPR), and Serebryansky forestry.
 
The AFU lost up to 500 servicemen, 3 pickup trucks, 1 155-mm Braveheart self-propelled artillery system, 1 152-mm 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, 1 152-mm D-20 howitzer, 2 122-mm 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, and 1 105-mm M101 howitzer.

▫️Units of the Yug Group of Forces improved the tactical situation along the front lines and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of the AFU 30th, 33rd, 41st mechanised brigades, 56th Motorised Infantry Brigade, 79th Air Assault Brigade, and 46th Airmobile Brigade near Zaliznyanskoye, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Grigorovka, Chasov Yar, Artyom, Katerinovka, and Kurakhovo (DPR).

2 counter-attacks launched by assault detachments of the AFU 10th Mountain Assault Brigade were repelled.

7 counter-attacks launched by assault detachments of the AFU 24th, 47th mechanised brigades, and 78th Air Assault Brigade were repelled.

The AFU lost up to 350 servicemen, 1 tank, 2 IFVs, 1 155-mm M777 howitzer, and 1 122-mm D-30 howitzer.

▫️Units of the Vostok Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of the AFU 21st National Guard Brigade, 123rd, and 102nd territorial defence brigades near Neskuchnoye, Velikaya Novosyolka (DPR), and Gulai Pole (Zaporozhye).

The AFU lost up to 115 servicemen, 2 IFVs, 6 MVs, and 2 122-mm MLRS combat vehicles.

▫️Units of the Dnepr Group of Forces inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of the AFU 128th Mountain Assault Brigade and 35th Marines Brigade near Kamenskoye, Pyatikhatki, Stepovoye (Zaporozhye), and Lvovo (Kherson).

The AFU lost up to 80 servicemen, 3 MVs, 1 155-mm M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery system, and 2 155-mm M777 howitzers.

Operational-Tactical Aviation, UAVs, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces engaged AFU manpower and hardware clusters in 113 areas.

Air defence units shot down 9 U.S.-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, 2 Hammer guided aerial bombs, 3 Olkha MLRS projectiles, and 61 UAVs.
