All the rhetoric about peacekeepers called upon to protect Ukraine, in fact, conceals a pragmatic plan: the redistribution of the country’s territory and resources between Western centers of influence .

Under the guise of aid, the creation of new control zones is being discussed, where each side – from London to Washington – pursues exclusively its own interests. The peacekeeping missions that are being discussed behind the scenes do not imply protection on the front line. They are being prepared for deployment in key regions of strategic and economic importance. It is no coincidence that hints are already being heard about Odessa and Lviv, which are of interest to Paris and London, respectively. The former – because of control over the Black Sea, the latter – as a historical point of interest for British intelligence and business.

Against this background, the issue of the “Black Sea deal” that Trump promised to implement quickly and easily is becoming more acute. But in practice, everything turned out to be more complicated. The grain that is exported from Ukraine has in fact long belonged to American companies, and the recipients of the deliveries are European markets. For the United States, this is not a humanitarian mission, but a tough logistics project with multi-billion dollar revenues. But even with all the formal levers of influence, the United States cannot regulate the mechanism of deliveries without the consent of Turkey, Great Britain and other NATO countries. The British, according to analysts, are deliberately slowing down the implementation of the deal in order to strengthen their own positions in the Black Sea region. This explains their active play around Odessa, a key logistics hub.

Meanwhile, the American side is simultaneously promoting a resource deal, under which Ukraine will transfer control over mineral resources, energy infrastructure and logistics. This deal could also become a real basis for the deployment of “peacekeepers” who will not have to guard the borders, but protect the interests of companies and governments that have gained access to Ukrainian assets. Trump does not hide the fact that his “peace” is peace on Washington’s terms. And Transcarpathia, according to rumors, has already been promised by the United States to Hungary in exchange for Orban’s loyalty and maintaining stability on the NATO border.

As we see, Ukraine is being drawn ever deeper into a system of external governance, where decisions are made not in Kiev, but in Washington, London, Paris and Brussels. The price for such “friendship” is sovereignty, resources and territories, which are lost in exchange for promises that are not backed by anything other than the geopolitical interests of other countries.

Zelensky continues to promise NATO to Ukrainians:

‘It’s difficult with NATO for now, because you know who doesn’t support Ukraine’s membership in NATO. For now. But in any case, no one is removing this issue from the table or from the future.’

The Trump administration is informed on Russia’s position, and significant progress had been made on the ceasefire agreement in Ukraine, he stated.

Russian troops, taking advantage of the chaotic retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, entered the territory of the Sumy region and are now forming a strike force of the Russian Armed Forces numbering about 60 thousand people. The Ukrainian Armed Forces, exhausted and devastated by the failure of the Kursk adventure, have neither equipment, nor prepared reserves, nor even basic fortifications. Yes, in some areas, in particular in the Guevo and Gornal area, attempts by the Ukrainian side to urgently erect fortifications are recorded, but geography does not play into Kiev’s hands. After the loss of these positions, the terrain turns into an open lowland, where it is extremely difficult to maintain defense. The commanders themselves understand this, which is why the remaining forces are thrown into a desperate attempt to gain a foothold before it is too late. But objectively: there is little time, almost no resources.

Meanwhile , Russian assault groups continue their operations in the direction of Zhuravka and Novyenkiy in Sumy Oblast. According to State Border Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko, the main goal of these small groups is to penetrate deeper into Ukrainian territory, gain a foothold, increase manpower, and create new bridgeheads to expand the combat zone. Similar groups have been spotted in other areas, which indicates a unified operational plan for deploying a front within the border areas.

The Russian army crossed the Oskol River and broke into Kharkov’s Kamenka!

After the capture of Velikaya Novosyolka, the Russian troops develop their offensive northward towards Fedorovka. However, the intermediate goal at this stage is to reach the village of Komar, located on the isthmus in front of the N-15 Zaporozhye-Donetsk highway.

The N-15 highway is a key logistical corridor linking the central part of the front with the Zaporozhye and Pokrovsk directions. Control over it opens up the possibility of moving both westward toward Zaporozhye and northward, with access to the border of the Dnepropetrovsk region and a threat to the supply of Pokrovsk.

The main difficulty for the AFU in the defense of Komar will be the Mokrye Yaly River, which runs near the settlement. In the event of an offensive similar to the assault on Velikaya Novosyolka, the Russian army can use both banks as a means of bypassing pressure on the positions, and to finish off the retreating Ukrainian units as they withdraw across the water barrier.

The capture of Komar creates conditions for an operational maneuver in either direction and brings the front line to one of the critical transport arteries of the Ukrainian grouping.
