Now Police Can Find Even the Faintest Fingerprints

British scientists have discovered a technique of recovering finger prints that otherwise would have been lost.

There are probably millions of people ho would hail this as good news – especially policemen and politicians. The reasoning goes something like this: we can recover more finger prints – hence, we can catch more criminals. With more criminals caught, we can make society safer. Or, so the reasoning goes.

Many people praise all the inventions and techniques that are used by detectives today. There are TV shows based on how detectives catch or identify criminals using the latest scientific techniques. One such show is CSI Miami (along with CSI New York and CSI Los Vegas).

Have such inventions and techniques made society safer? Has it created peace in the land? Obviously not – just consider this:

America has the highest percentage of prisoners in the world.

America has more criminal in prison than the much higher population of communist China.

America has the highest number of gang members in the world

Each city in America has a section where it’s unsafe to walk in day or night

America spends more money on the police force than any other nation

American police force has more weapons than any other nation

What is the result of all this?

We still have the more robberies, burglaries, rapes and murder than other nations.

If the solution was the technology used to catch criminals, we would have the safest country in the world – but just the opposite is true.

If it really takes more inventions, cameras, computer software, money and man power to catch criminals, than how could ANY country in the past and up to the mid 20^th century produce societies where crime was much lower? How could 19^th century America, for example,  create a society where women were safe to walk the streets and people could leave their front doors unlocked without being robbed? How could all of this happen without all the inventions, detective techniques, money and a large police force that we use today?

The short answer to all this is, that we don’t need all this surveillance technology and money. All we need is that the laws, statues and judgements, as found in the Bible, will reduce crime.

To start, you must change the hearts of mankind.
