Selfish ‘Panic Shoppers’

You think you’re pretty smart to have grabbed most or everything on the shelf … but not smart enough to have kept a ‘pantry’ before a crisis … of course, you didn’t want to be labelled as a “prepper” … those guys are nuts!

You march up to the checkout smugly … your cart loaded with more than you need; ha ha … “early bird gets the worm” you think … you’re the “winner” and others are the “losers” because they were not “quick” enough!

Well, you weren’t ‘slow’ enough and you assumed, falsely, that what you need (or want) would always be there conveniently when your needs arise!

You were wrong, and now you are panicked … those ‘dreaded preppers’ only laugh at you because you’re pathetic and selfish, and didn’t have the common sense to think ahead.

Other shoppers look at you. They don’t see you as “smart” … they see you for what you are … selfish and with no sense of the overall good. You’re the narcisit who  is convinced that YOU are more important than others are.

In times of need and crisis there can be no “me”, because the “us” of the community is how people have always survived tough times. That time is upon us again.

One of the founders of the US REBUBLIC (Benjamin Franklin) famously said: “We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.” So if we don’t look after each other ….

“Panic shoppers” are the epitomy of selfish and stupid … you didn’t think ahead, plan or prepare. You’re a ‘locust’ devouring resources without any thought or consciense about others in your community.

Maybe your ‘day will come’ when you are in need … but no one wants to help that selfish asshole (you) who smugly checked out with more than they need and didn’t care about others needs.
