When an economy collapses, what will you use as a form of currency? Will your money have any value? In this video, we’ll take a closer look at the value of precious metals for preppers.

I agree, but if your income can not afford to purchase metals , then your 1 and 2nd priority is food and security.

Gold and silver are not Armageddon metals, they are for wealth preservation. A new monetary system will be initiated and gold and silver will have value then too, period. Paper will burn and only tangible things will have value (including gold/silver).

Not wealthy enough for metals so I am just focusing on the 3 B’s, preparing to hunker down for an extended time, just want to make it to the other side.

I think balance, because if I was forced out of my home where most of my preps are, I may not be able to carry a lot of canned food or water. However I may be able to carry enough coinage to buy some food along the way. Will of course depend on the situation, which is why I say balance because it’s hard to prepare for every contingency. Thanks for all your work & videos have helped me become more prepared than I was.

You can’t eat gold or silver BUT you can eat if you have gold or silver. There will be lots of people who still live under the illusions of monetary wealth and power.
