We’re proud to introduce the Malvern range to David Hampton. We especially love the Card Holder in Malvern Hide and, for something a bit different, the Oyster Card Holder.

The range is supplied in dark green gift boxes and can be personalised with your initials or the initials of someone you love.

We caught up with designer, Michael Gough-Allen and asked him about the new range.

What makes the Malvern collection different to the rest of the range?

The Malvern collection is designed to be a core collection for David Hampton with a wide range of styles for both women and men together with gift items and we will be adding new colours to the collection later in the year.

Why are David Hampton wallets so special?

They’re designed to be used. We’ve thought about how many credit card slots we need, how many note pockets and where the coins will go. These are wallets and purses for people who are going to use them. That’s why they make such great gifts.

Aren’t all wallets the same?

I’ve seen so many wallets and purses where the credit card slots are just too small and when you use all the pockets the wallet doesn’t close. And how many wallets are there which don’t fit larger notes like twenties and fifties in them? Not with our wallets.

What is it that makes your products the perfect gift?

The attention to detail. I don’t believe we’ve cut corners on anything except our credit card pockets to make them easier to use! The Champagne moire lining adds an extra touch of luxury. They’re beautifully embossed and come in a really swish gift box. Personalising them with your initials makes them something you really want to keep for a lifetime.
