EL Paso’s 2013 go to New Year’s Eve celebration will be hosted at the premiere Lotus Night Club along side the entire street in front of it’s doors. Yes, this new years party is also an outdoor block party with tents and enough heat out there to feel like its summer – Lotus has received permission from the city to block N. Stanton Street between Texas and Mills Street. El Paso’s new year’s eve ball drop celebration will kickoff at 9:00 p.m. The outdoor block party area will be available for those 18 years of age and up, while club entry will be open to those 21 and over.

The Lotus Nightclub organization includes adjoining venues: Oliver’s Restaurant and Pasha Nightclub – both of which will be open and included in the night’s fun. Other partners in the night’s celebration include Percolator and House of Pizza. Premium champagne and bottle service, special dinner packages and exclusive VIP reservations are available. Musical entertainment will be performed indoors and on a large outdoor stage ran by the area’s top D.J.’s including Julian V., Michael Anthony and C.J. Tari as well as live bands including: Biscuit Roller, Bulletproof Tigers and Riboflavin.

As 2012 ticks to a close, the true highlight and excitement of the evening heats up. One of the club’s giant LED globes will be suspended from a crane above the celebrating crowd (see attached image). As the countdown begins, the globe will activate creating a high-tech, countdown light show that will illuminate the night sky – similar to New York’s famous celebration. A second, identical ball drop will take place simultaneously inside the nightclub. Lotus Nightclub Management, states, “The globe has become a signature fixture for our nightclub. People love it.
