New Appointments Strengthen Innovation Group's Growing North America Software Business

FARMINGTON, CT–(Marketwire – Jan 15, 2013) – The Innovation Group plc (Innovation Group) today announced three new appointments for the North America Insurer Software business with Martyn Sutton named Chief Sales Officer, Tom Mann named Chief Operating Officer and Denise Garth promoted to EVP NA Strategic Marketing & Industry Relations and Head of Global Market Strategy.

In his role as Chief Sales Officer, Sutton is now responsible for sales, pre-sales, business development and re-seller relationships in the North America market. He has extensive experience and a successful track record in insurance software, including roles as president of Rebus’ operations in North America, prior to their acquisition by XChanging. Sutton spent six years as U.S. Country Manager and Global Head of Sales for XChanging Insurance Services, where he worked until 2010. Most recently, Sutton was Global Head of Sales for Exigen Insurance Solutions.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mann will be focused on developing our delivery capabilities to take advantage of our pipeline of opportunities. He will also be responsible for operational management, risk management, resource management and training. His successful background in program and project delivery of software for insurers will enhance Innovation Group’s implementation and delivery capabilities for Innovation Insurer.

In her expanded role, Garth will continue to participate as a leading member of Innovation Group’s North American Executive team driving strategic marketing and industry relations for the company’s North America Business Services and Insurer Software businesses. Garth works closely with the NA Sales teams, participating in the product strategy group for Innovation Insurer and driving key partnerships for the technology business as well as heading up global market strategy as a key member of the Global Marketing and Communications team. Utilizing her 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and her work with the key influencers in the market, Innovation Group will rely on Garth for industry analyst relations, product marketing and marketing intelligence on a global basis.
