StuART Drums, an award-winning artist and drum-maker based in Cave Creek, Arizona has now added fine art prints of famous pop culture icons to their line of work. Stu Braks, the artist behind StuART Drums, usually bases his work on Native American portraits, but is diverting from that for this new series of fine art prints. So far, these prints include the likes of Paul McCartney, John Wayne, and Marilyn Monroe. Stu Braks is the award-winning artist and drum-maker of StuART Drums. He is based locally in Cave Creek, Arizona. His artwork originates from his interests in drumming, the Old West, and Native American culture. Stu’s specialty is painting the faces of the old west, currently focusing on a series of Native American portraits. He uses acrylics to paint his subjects both on canvas and on his handmade hoop drums. Stu’s goal is to capture the dignity, character, emotion and spirit of the subjects, and to bring those feelings to the viewer.
