Video Offering Jack the Rippers Identity Goes Viral

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

One month ago, a video was posted to YouTube titled “Dr H H Holmes and the Whitechapel Ripper”.  The video is a book trailer for a soon to be released book by True-Crime Author and Historian Dane Ladwig. The video is going viral.

Why the interest?  For one, the book promises to make a connection between a serial killer physician, Herman Webster Mudgett a.k.a Dr. Henry Howard “H. H.” Holmes and London’s infamous criminal, Jack the Ripper.

According to Mr. Ladwig, He has uncovered proof through examination of case file evidence, which places America’s serial killer Dr. H. H. Holmes in the Whitechapel district of London in 1888 during the time of the Ripper killings.

“Dr. Holmes had a residence in the Whitechapel district and his plan included peddling articulated skeletons to the University and the Hospital in Whitechapel.” Ladwig further says that evidence reflects Holmes had connections with very influential people in London who, with the aid of the Monarchy, saw to it that Holmes was not pursued as a suspect in the Ripper murders.

Dr. Holmes admitted to killing 27 people in America in his “murder castle” that he designed specifically for the purpose of aiding his diabolical scheme to lure women from the 1893 Columbian Exposition/World’s Fair, then murder them in the most gruesome fashion. It is believed Holmes most likely killed as many as 200.

Why was he not recognized as a suspect in the Ripper murders until now? The author of “Dr. H. H. Holmes and the Whitechapel Ripper” says, “Oft times we fail to identify that which is simplistic, evident or less prevalent than the obvious. In the case of Holmes, when the Ripper case was in full investigation, the news of Holmes was that he was incarcerated in America for crimes committed in the States. Naturally, it was assumed Holmes was in the States the entire duration of the Ripper murders; however, he was not.”

The video trailer is spreading like a virus. The book promises evidence never before examined or revealed. The enigmatic nature of Jack the Ripper and the gruesome qualities of these evil fiends of serial killers of days of old seem to be the perfect combination of a successful video debut. Face it, who does not love a great journey into the mind and the universe of a serial killers past?
