Fantasy Football Takeover Happens at Local Internet San Francisco Company

What once started out as a hobby has turned into a worldwide obsession. Fantasy football is everywhere. It is on the Internet, at restaurants, in bars, and even in schools. It seems like everyone is all consumed by this hobby, and in many ways they are consumed. Now, there may be a special Internet just for people who are obsessed with fantasy football.

“It appears as if sometime between the hours of midnight and 3 a.m., our Internet headquarters were overtaken by fantasy football fans”, said a spokesman for a local Internet San Francisco company. “These fans insisted that there be a special Internet just for them. A place where they could meet, talk about football, and just be diehard fantasy football fans.”

Over the years, fantasy football fans have relied upon email, message boards, and forums to talk about their fantasy football leagues. This has been sufficient, up until now. The fans seem to want more and they have turned to a local, leading Internet San Francisco company for help.

“We picked this Internet provider for a reason”, said a fantasy football fan who took part in the takeover. He wished to remain anonymous. “I think we had to do something dramatic to be heard. This takeover, while all in fun, showed that we are serious and want an Internet all to ourselves.”

Developers that currently work for the Internet company decided to stage a meeting with these fantasy football fans. The meeting would provide them with the opportunity to talk and discuss features and other things that they would like to see in an Internet company.

“We all sat down and discussed what we would like to see”, said the fantasy football fan. “We talked about features that would be great to have on the Internet, how we could make it private, and even how we could bring our fantasy football leagues to ‘life’. We made progress.”

This is the first ever ‘takeover’ of an Internet company on record. Never before have fans been so passionate about a cause that they staged a takeover. The takeover does not come as a surprise to the CEO of the company.

“We encourage our customers to be passionate and share ideas with us”, said the CEO. “I usually prefer it be done in email form, but this was unique. I hope we do not have too many takeovers, but it got our attention and now everyone is happy.”
