Final Project for Project Management Training Online Course Could Help Reduce Energy Costs

Countries all over the world are looking for ways to reduce energy costs. They have tried solar power, using corn oil, and other items to power electronics, but nothing has worked. That is until now.

A group of students who have been taking part in a project management training online course may have found a solution that will solve the world’s energy problems. The group of students created a group of hamsters that could power lights just by running on wheels.

“These hamsters may look small, but they are strong; very, very strong”, said Brad Hill, one of the students that worked on the project. “They were able to run for up to 8 hours without getting tired. That was enough to create energy that ran over 100 electronics for 5 days.”

The idea for the project came about as a final project. The students were supposed to create a setup that showed they had project management skills. The students got together to create a power company, but decided to take it a step further.

“We thought we could create something that was unique”, said Hill. “We wanted to have a unique power company and what is more unique than a power company run by hamsters? Nothing. That is why we went with the idea for the project.”

The students created an entire network that had everything from generators to create and hold the power, to hundreds of hamster wheels. The students created work schedules, meal times, and rest times for the hamsters. They also worked out how to distribute the energy and how to get it to consumers.

“These are real problems we will face as project managers in the future”, said Hill. “Maybe we won’t be working with hamsters, but we will be working with people and complex networks. That is why our project is so amazing.”

The project proved to be extremely successful. It was so successful that several leaders from foreign countries contacted the students of the project management training online courses.

“We were contacted by several world leaders”, said Hill. “They found out we had an alternative energy solution and wanted to learn about what we were doing. We did not even know that they knew about us at all! It was really odd.”

World leaders found out about the project after one of the participants posted a YouTube video. That is how people learned about the project.
