Highland Woods Golf and Country Club in Bonita Springs Announces Long Anticipated Grand Opening

After four years of work the Highland Woods community in Bonita Springs, FL is excited to announce their  Highland Woods Golf and Country Club is having its grand opening of the course.  Scheduled for Saturday, January 30^th, 2016 and highlighting a golf course which has seen $6.5 million in renovations, anticipation surrounding the event is very high.

Many people would agree, Bonita Springs is a very special part of Southwest Florida and a remarkably beautiful place to live.  Certainly a new highlight of the area is the Highland Woods Community, featuring very impressive real estate choices and a spectacular community center in the Highland Woods Golf and Country Club, which recently completed $6.5 million worth of incredible renovations.  A special grand opening and tee off has been announced for January 30^th, 2016 and the local community couldn’t be more pleased with the news.

According to Equity Realty, the redo began in 2012 and includes improvements and enhancement to the golf course, clubhouse and cart barn.  The course itself, which is designed by Gordon Lewis and sees about 40,000 rounds a year, was tore up, had a number of holes elevated and grass replanted with higher quality grass and regraded. 

Beyond the course, the clubhouse and bocci areas have seen major upgrades with new bathrooms added, furniture replace for a more modern feel and new bamboo floors installed.  The kitchen has seen an expansion, with a new satellite bar added, along with a new sound and audio/video system installed.

Real estate prices begin in the $150,000 range for condominiums and $600,000 for single family homes.

The community is very popular with residents.
