The hilarious comedy starring celebrated comedian Joey Kola and actors Lamar Cheston, and Richard Lampone follows three friends through a magical and unexpected day that turns their worlds upside down.

NEW YORK CITY – April 20, 2016: What do you get when top comedian Joey Kola and two retired NYPD supervisors get together? The most hilarious independent film of 2016: Gender Bender The Movie! As the film heads into production it has launched a  crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise funds.

In  Gender Bender The Movie, three close childhood friends—played by Joey Kola, Lamar Cheston, and Richard Lampone—are fed up with the existing feminine balance of powers that have cost them their promotions. After drinking heavily to drown their miseries together at the local bar, they are approached by a shady character who offers them the secret to the power that women possess. In their drunken stupor, they are convinced to enter a dark universe ruled by a mysterious Japanese mystical man. The three friends will never forget the next 24 hours, as they soon realize that the power they all craved comes with heavy consequences.

This movie will be full of non-stop laughs and the audience will fall in love with these characters as they did for the movie “The Hangover” says John R. Morana, Writer/Producer of Gender Bender The Movie.

The crowdfunding campaign for Gender Bender The Movie is live on Indiegogo now, and will continue until June 15^th 2016. Gender Bender The Movie is seeking to raise $20,000 in order to secure on-screen talent and location expenses, as well as the creation of original costumes and production designs. Contributor perks include a day on the set of the movie, dinner with the cast, a featured extra placement, a one-on-one comedy session with Joey Kola, and an opportunity to be named the movie’s Executive Producer.
