The program implements three types of backup: full (including files not modified since the last backup), incremental (only new and modified files are copied) and differential (all files created or modified since the last full backup are added to the current backup copy).

The size of backup copies is practically unlimited: Action Backup supports the zip64 format making it possible to add large files (including multimedia files and databases) to backup copies, which is definitely an advantage of the product. Another strong side of the tool is its ability to backup files currently in use by other apps thanks to the built-in Shadow Backup technology. The tool is extremely performing thanks to advanced backup algorithms, and is equipped with the flexible scheduler to run backup tasks whenever possible, even when no users are logged into the system.

Created backups can be stored on the hard drive, on FTP servers, remote network resources, CDs/DVDs. And for ultimate security, Action Backup can protect backups with the password.

Action Backup is available for Windows NT to Windows 10, both 32-bit and 64-bit. The price for a license is $39.95. Further updates of the program are available without additional fee.
