FREE Fall Risk Assessments is September helping Americans reduce their risk of falling down

September 9, 2016 (MMD Newswire) — September is the designated month for National Falls Prevention Awareness Day. Fyzical- Woodbury, MN. is offering free Fall Risk Assessments the month of September to identify Americans who have problems with their balance. Poor balance could make people susceptible to a fall with subsequent injury. A recent study from the journal Current Gerontology and Geriatrics Research(1) reported that many older adults are not aware that they are at risk for falling due to preventable deficits in strength, balance and range-of-motion.
